Value.  At whatever slot you pick, you want value.

Our primary needs are OT and DE.  Unless Barnett grades out higher to our scouts, then he is a mid first rounder.  No OT should go before mid first round.  Garrett long gone.

So, there we sit at 7 surrounded by CB's and Safeties, and Fournette.

The game changes a lot in February and people move up and down, but as we stand now, a Safety or Fournette is not out of the question

One guy that might just creep into the conversation is Ryan Ramczck, much moreso than Robinson or McGlinchey.  I'm a Barnett/Fournette guy and would much rather have experience at LT than at DE, and the guy hasn't performed against top competition for multiple years, but his size, skill set, humble beginnings, the premium of the position, and the Joe Thomas/Travis Frederick level linemen that have come out of Madison are worth keeping an eye on if we refuse to trade for a LT, or, if those teams truly are unwilling to negotiate at all.  I'd cringe thinking of him against elite rushers immediately but we'll see.

I'm a fan of McGlinchey if he comes out this season.....even if we take him a little "high".

Its amazing how many good RB's have been drafted in later rounds and how many RB first round busts there have been in recent times. I read that Fournette has ankle injury concerns. I understand that Cook causes concern because hes not a natural fit for a power running game but could that change with the departure of Shula as OC?

The reason these guys are enticing is that the more weapons you give Cam, the more pressure you take off him and obviously then hes really dangerous. Barnett and Adams look good options on the defensive side, but an O weapon might make Cam less of a target. I wouldn't mind a WR either.

Garrett then Fournette are my top two preferred prospects from this class.

This in addition to Adams.  No possible way Garrett falls to us.

Gettleman and Co need to camp out down in LSU and watch Adams and Fournette hard.  Still have doubts that Fournette falls as well.

Adams in the 1st, Foreman in the 2nd and one of Soloman Thomas/Jordan Leggett in the 3rd  and ill be happy happy happy

Another thing that I've noticed about Fournette in his college career is that he tends to be injury prone.  Two of his three years, he missed about half the season for various knocks and injuries.

Sounds a lot like the complaints that Carolina fans have had about our current running back.

Fournette should be there for the taking if G-man decides to pick him. The only teams that may, but probably won't, draft Fournette before us are the Jags or Jets, and they arguably have bigger needs.

If G-man believes he's the transformative, generational type of player that AP was, he will be the pick.

I'd be okay with Fournette, but our offense wasn't terrible this year because of our running backs. I think we have bigger offensive needs like OT, WR and TE. Last year was a time to get offensive players. We could have had TE Hunter Henry in the 1st and WR Shepard in the second. Both would have helped us greatly and both had good years. We took a DT that was injured and did next to nothing. Why? Because our sorry excuse of a GM wanted a back up plan when he Nicole's and dimes Short out the doir.
