Why not Christian over Fournette?

Listen folks. I'm only going to say this one more time after this.

The only two RBs we should look at anywhere near the first round are Fournette and Royce Freeman.

If/when we cut Stewart, these will be our guys.

Cook runs high and stiff, can't really break tackles all that great, can't make great cuts consistently, isn't elusive, and has an amazing line in front of him. Some team is going to draft him too high, yes. You'll have forgotten about him in around 6 years.

I don't understand all the hate at Fournette. I really don't see any flaws with his as a prospect. He is a create-a-player come to life.

Let's be real. Elliot went 4th last year and Fournette is a much better prospect. I don't think he will last long enough to make it to us.

People are afraid he's all hype and worried about his health... Plus they don't think we need a RB all that bad...

Meanwhile, they'll cling to an aging battering ram who's overpaid and say "oh let's just draft an OL like Cam Robinson" with no research on the subject other than seeing ranking sites ranking him super high.

I agree, Fournette may not last until we pick. If not, I would be happy with Royce Freeman in the top ten. Yes, I said it.

If we really are a running team as people on this forum like to say, it doesn't make a lot of sense passing on Fournette.

I think the best combination of need, value, and possibility is probably Jamal Adams. He is a good prospect and we need a decent safety bad.

I wouldn't be unhappy with one of DE either. We have so many holes tbh

This is so wrong I don't know where to even begin

Cook is a worse version of CJnotso2K

Fournette is the only first round option but I certainly would not take RB in the first.....if we stick at #7 and pass on Mike Williams we'll regret it forever....can get a damn good back in the 2nd or 3rd...just like every year.

There is only 1 WR in this draft that can do what MW does and plenty of backs who can do what  Fournette does.

Cook is who I'd want if we drafted a Rb in the first. I don't want to draft an Rb in the first, but if we did that's who I'd want. No need to laugh and be a jerk.

I'm not trying to be a jerk. I am trying to get Cook supporters to wake up and see how bad he will be in the NFL.

He might have 1-2 good years in him, but that's it. Especially so, if a team with a bad OL like the Panthers drafts him.

He doesn't have great vision, or cutback ability, when there isn't a lane to run through.

The same reasons people are overrating Cook are the same reasons people are underrating Freeman. What Freeman lacks in big play ability he makes up for in being way above par at making something out of nothing, patience, and the ability to keep his legs pumping.

Cook will be more like DeAngelo Williams in the NFL. Never really a full time starter and only successful in open lanes.

Freeman will be a younger Jonathan Stewart, but probably a little better in the long run.

Fournette, of course, is probably a once in a 5-10 year player, comparable to the greats.
