Why not Christian over Fournette?

McCaffery is going to be a west coast RB, more like Brian Westbrook. The Chiefs are an ideal destination for him.

Panthers need to draft D'Onta Foreman. Dude is a battering ram and faster than he looks and can pass block like a MOFO. 6'1 250. Big men allow you to compete? Foreman.

I like Foreman.

That said, while the West Coast analysis is correct, I'm not convinced that we couldn't use McCaffrey.

If you want to draft Fournette because you expect him to be a great back for the next 10 years that's understandable.  In the short term though I don't see a different back doing much better then Stewart under current conditions.

Very rarely do I watch Stewart run and think someone else would have got much more out of the run. Sure, a speed back like Cook might make some runs that Stewart doesn't but at the same time he probably won't be able to turn those 2 yard gains into 4 yard gains like Stewart.

yes. i want to look at RB too, but honestly stew + CAP + late round rookie behind a much improved offensive line will do much better than a shiny new first rounder running behind remmers and oher.

omfg people wake up. Cook is going to be average in the NFL. He has a great line in college, and we don't. Plus, the NFL is a tougher league for RBs of his caliber.

and lol at comparing McCaffrey to Fournette...

Would you rather Nick Goings or Adrian Peterson?
