Our probable opponents for 2017:

If we end up 3rd in the division like I'm expecting, we'll play Washington, Green Bay, Minnesota, Buffalo, and Miami at home and New England, Los Angeles, NY Jets, Detroit, and Chicago on the road in addition to the NFC South opponents. 

 

Thoughts on those opponents? Only thing I'm certain of is that the NFL is going to keep us off primetime for the most part. We'll get a TNF game and a MNF game against, say, New England and that will be it.

Fwiw, I think we end up finishing fourth, and play the forty whiners, Bears, Eagles, along with the NFC north and AFC east.

I don't think there is one.  I know last time we played the east, we played new England and the jets at home so we play them on the road now. Same with the North.. We got embarrassed by green bay and Minnesota on the road in 2014, so we play them here this time.

Where we play (against AFC) is rotating. So we play in NE, for example, then four years later they play in Charlotte. I'd imagine the non-South NFC games are similar.

But hey, if we finish fourth, we'll have an easy schedule next season, finish with a solid record and once again gain a false sense of being elite. The cycle continues.

What this year has taught me is that even though it is a down year, we can play with any team in the league. It's just a matter of better coaching and whether we shore up some glaring weaknesses in FA/draft.
