Screw you London!!

The NFL needs to throw in the towel on the London experiment. Although there appears to be a fan base, the reality is far different. Dan Patrick spoke at length about this not long ago and said NFL HQ folks behind the scenes say it all looks good on the surface, but is a far different story when it comes to being a viable, financially sound product.

Think about it, all of their road games are at least 4-5 hour flights to the east coast- jet lag, anyone? How about a London versus Seattle matchup after a 10-hour flight? How about Seattle flying to London? 10-hour flight going the wrong way against the clock? That's an 8-hour time difference on top of the 10-hour flight.

IF we were playing a west coast team (i.e. the Rams) and they were the home team, it would become a tactical advantage with the HOME team having to spend an additional 5+ hours in the air.  There really aren't any other scenarios that make it worth getting our rhythms off kilter the rest of the season in my opinion.

Hahaha was great seeing the handful of guys im stationed with who are saints fans down here in miami get all mad when they found out the one time theyd get to see them down here, they move it to england

While I know there's a lot of downsides, the idea of us as the away team in London sounds like a great vacation to plan for. I have to imagine that Jerry is spending his political capital with the NFL to avoid this though...

why would u want us to go unless its an away game?? Think its a bonus not to do the trip..even though I love the UK since I was there for 8 years..it takes 2 weeks to get over the jet lag.. the body is fugged up on that trip..IGO just wants a trip to London :)
