I heard him say a thousand years then said yards

But i loved his recovery after calling KB Funchess. Camera changes and just before the next play he goes the Panthers have two very tall wrs

KB who is 6'5 and Funches who is 6'4...well played Rosen. Well played.

He had ordered a product from a company I worked for, it hadn't arrived yet, and he basically lost his cool and said what we did wasn't exactly rocket science and if I couldn't fix that for him right that second, then he ought to be there doing my job for me.

This was right after he left Cleveland and was trying to catch on with Denver.

what a dipshit

i guess having the entire world kiss your ass from the moment it was discovered you could throw a football harder and farther than anyone else will do that

He may mess up names sometimes, but I still think of him as a decent announcer overall. Would there be as much joy in your life without Donald LaFell? Of course not. Plus he doesn't punish your eardrums during big plays a la Gus Johnson. I think of it as a 3 hour soak in warm epsom salts, and it's pretty darn refreshing.

They guy is a GREAT announcer. He is getting older but he  is in the Hockey Hall of Fame for broadcasting. The guy deserves a break.

Of course Voth called him out yesterday for seeing a white player down and saying it was Bosa. The best part was it was a black player down and as usual Voth was wrong and being a drama queen (nothing new). I can't tell you how many times Klein has made a tackle and an announcer says Luke and Voth says nothing.

I digress, but my main point is he's not a bad announcer.

Ole Sam may be getting up there in years, but he called our first play from scrimmage well before the ball was snapped...a run up the middle by Stew (of course). What does that tell you about our offensive play calling? And when I say offensive, I mean it in every sense of the word.
