It was a good play on his part, no doubt about it.  He played it perfectly.  Just saying the interception was a really bad pass on Rivers part.

But we are also making plays we didn't make in other games...like some of the tight throw and catches.

We have wide open players on plays and they are either missed or not seen or not enough time in the pocket due to OL.

 

Of course Shula needs to be fired but all offenses have wide open players at times.

 

That was still a tight window that Newton needed to fit his ball into.

Go back and watch the Panthers offense...the go and watch the Redskins or Raiders offense.

It is one thing to have better offensive players (which those two teams certainly have) it is entirely another when the Panthers passing game is limited to low percentage pass plays where even if the pass is completed it leads to zero YAC.

I do too.  He's the Barry Sanders of QB's... well maybe not that good but he'd have a ring if he played for a team worth a poo.

Na it wasn't...you just put air under it as Fozzy had 3 steps on him and would only increase his lead...no window at all just a wide open door on that play.
