So are you at practice so you can see how they do. If he was great he would be playing. It is ignorant to assume that we wouldn't put the best guys out there. And to assume that your talent evaluation skills are better than professionals who do this for a living is laughable.

Example #1.

This is you making it seem as if the coaching decisions and talent evaluation are unquestionable.

See, where we disagree is where you say something, and then deny having ever said it.

I am not saying they are unquestionable. I am saying if you are going to question them and have some credibility, know what you are talking about and have the experience to back it up. Otherwise you can say whatever you want any time but expect guys like me to discount it and believe the experts. That is what is posted above. What your doing is interpreting what I said incorrectly. If I wanted to say they always make correct decisions I would have said that. I simply said they know more than you or I and every other poster here. Stop interpreting and making it up because my original point is correct and largely unarguable.

Have you not been watching games lately. Newton is on a pace to complete 54% of his passes. He was very inaccurate against Seattle just last Sunday. He was pretty bad against Oakland the week before. He has been pretty bad this year even when given time. He is like Ginn. They can both make hard plays look easy and then miss easy plays all together.

Oh cut it out. The same guy accounted for 50 touchdowns, and an MVP award with Ginn last year. He didn't just forget how to play football.

This sort of tomfoolery reminds me of when people were saying he had no deep ball accuracy a few years ago because he was once again getting sacked into oblivion behind a struggling offensive line.

Everyone in this offense is down statistically this year. It all goes back to the OL. We fix the OL issues, and most of this bs goes away.

Newton is more accurate when he has time to throw which he doesn't. But he often exaggerates the issue with poor footwork and holding the ball. He will never be considered an accurate thrower. It is okay to recognize his flaws and still like him as our quarterback.  I have taken Gettleman to task several times for the poor O line. We agree on that for sure.
