Norwell, Turner, Addison, Williams, Love, Bradberry, Star, Short, etc. Now possibly Larsen.

Yeah... lulz

We all know it's Rivera who can't evaluate talent. Just stop.

Dude we're 4-8, and Gettlemen clearly has a part in this fug up.  To be honest, the majority is on him.  So, yes.  LOLZ.  You can stop sucking on his cock anytime now.  Everybody else has.

We have some big issues

Oline is number one.  Our G's are good, but we face issues at the other 3 positions.  Oher and Kalil might or might not be back.

Drafting a T and C have to be on the table

TE  Greg is not getting any younger and the cupboard is bare behind him

RB  Stew is expensive, Tobert is done

WR  Probably ok

QB  Cam in last contract in my opinion

And that is only the offense.

What makes you think Cam is done here after his contract? I'm just curious, because I agree with you.

Cam has talents beyond football.  As much as has been made light of here, I think he can take his personality and creative abilities to further is apparel lines.  He has one of the biggest stages in the world and is using it wisely presently with his press conferences.  He can make a lot of money after football and this is America, more power to him.  Designing does not carry the risk of concussion or ACL tears either

If we look at the team going into 2017, there are some obvious holes to fill.  For the fun of it, I looked at our current roster and removed players that will be free agents next year.

Lets first look at the offense skill positions.

QB: Cam Newton, Derek Anderson, Joe Webb. No real change here

TE: Greg Olsen, Ed Dickson, Chris Manhertz, Scott Simonson.  Again, no change

WR: Kelvin Benjamin, Devin Funchess, Damiere Byrd.  These are the only WRs we have under contract moving into next year. We will need to bring in or resign players just to have enough to fill the roster.  *Philly Brown is likely to return as he is a RFA

RB: Jonathan Stewart, Cameron Artis-Payne, Devon Johnson, Jalen Simmons.  Cutting J-Stew saves about 4.75 mil on the cap with 3.75 mil in dead money.  However, this would leave us painfully short in talent at RB.

FB: Mike Tolbert

Now, lets look at the O-line.

LT: Micheal Oher, Jordan Rigsbee, Jake Rodgers

LG: Andrew Norwell (RFA)

C: Ryan Kalil, Gino Gradkowski, Tyler Larsen

RG: Trai Turner

RT: Daryl Williams, Pearce Slater

If Oher or Kalil retire, we are in for a serious world of hurt here.

The defense looks better, but not by much.  I am going to assume we pick up Lotulelei's 5th year option. We will have to wait and see what happens with KK.

DT: Star Lotulelei, Vernon Butler, Paul Soliai, Eric Crume.

DE: Kony Ealy, Ryan Delaire, Larry Webster.  This is a mess.

LBs: Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, Shaq Thompson, Jeremy Cash, David Mayo, Jared Norris.  I feel good about our LBs.

CBs: James Bradberry, Daryl Worley, Travell Dixon, Tyler Patmon.  Every CB on our current roster other than Bradberry and Worley are on 1 year deals except for two players on the PS.

SS: Kurt Coleman, Dean Marlowe

FS: Tre Boston

Special teams will remain relatively consistent.

Gettleman is going to have a make or break off-season.  He has a lot of opportunity to upgrade this roster.  Being out of the playoff hunt means he can get started early on talent evaluation.

*Added Philly Brown and Andrew Norwell, as they are RFAs and likely to be brought back in.

That looks pretty good, actually.

I could see that. I actually feel he'll go to a different team, but I can definitely see him going in the direction your saying; especially if the hits he takes keep piling up. Definitely looks as though football isn't as fun to him anymore. His first 5 years he stayed smiling, even when we were losing. I rarely see the smile now.

DE is BY FAR the biggest hole in this team. OL my ass, we have a pro bowl center and two really good guards. Williams has played well in spots and Remmers is a good utility backup. We need a starting LT, that is what is holding the OL back. Let's make a deal (KB?, Shaq?, KB and Shaq?). Ealy nor delaire can hold the edge against the run. We need a premier pass rusher who is a true 3 down player (Derek Barnett) badly.

Do you realize how much of this is editing? Jeremy posted a bunch of pictures of him laughing and smiling. Unfortunately, we are still in the SB hangover so what are they going to show on TV, him smiling? Also, we aren't winning this year. Half the shots we saw last year were when we were scoring and blowing teams out, so all there was to show was the entire team celebrating. Cam isn't going anywhere and the team will start winning again.

I hope you're right. I think we're all down this year. To come off such a high that was last year is tough

only pass rusher I would take is Myles Garrett, other wise there is better value in 2-3 rounds. Its either OT/RB/TE
