D'Onta Foreman declares for the NFL Draft

If we can have a thread in the main forum about Leonard Fournette, we need to have a thread about the RB that lead the NCAA in rushing, D'Onta Foreman from Texas. Foreman is 6'1, 250lbs, and racked up 2200 yards and 15 TDs. I watched him all year at Texas. Although most of the rest of the team sucked this year, Foreman most certainly did not. His stock will only go up this offseason. Foreman could end up being a high first round pick. With Stewart turning 30 this offseason, this is a guy the Panthers should take a long look at.

Zierlein has compared Foreman's skill set to that of Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart. Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles, himself a former Longhorn, called Foreman the best running back in college football earlier this season.

Intresting, this year's RB class is smiliar to the WR class of 2014 with great talent across the board where you can find a franchise RB.I still think Freeman is more similar to Stewart but with better speed. If we pick top 10 I would be heart broken between OT/RB, I would rather trade down and get a RB/TE combo.

Do like.

Fournette scares me because he has a tendency to injury (sound familiar?) and when he played top defenses he tended to do... not as well.  Racked up serious yards against bad defenses.

Every defense in the NFL is better than a top college defense.

Yeah but he dominated every team his sophomore season except Alabama which is expected. Injuries are a little concerning though

Foreman is the best RB not being talked about. Don't like him in the top-15, but he's going to be one of those 'late-first rounders' that a team like Oakland or Green Bay takes. Foreman is a dominant, big RB with some good speed. I saw where UT had him clocked at 4.4, which is probably a big stretch. Regardless, he would fit nicely beside Cam.

Nah Oakland has a similar back in Latavius Murray, and maybe Green Bay if they give up on Eddie Lacy. I could see Baltimore grabbing Foreman. Maybe even Seattle.

4.4 might be a stretch, or might have been when he was a bit younger/lighter. Foreman is fast for a big man and would make an impact immediately. The line at Texas wasn't great and it wasn't like they played scrub teams all year. I am telling you guys this here first, Foreman could be the best back in this draft and the Panthers could use him now.
