We have to go 2-2 the rest of the way to avoid dubious NFL history

The record for biggest drop-off in wins from one season to the next is shared by the 1994 Oilers and the 2013 Texans when those teams won 10 fewer regular season games than they did the preceding year. We currently have 11 less regular season wins than 2015 with 4 to go. Losing out and we have the new record ourselves, 1-3 will tie it.

Absolutely embarrasing and I hope someone(s) is held accountable.

I don't see how Jerry Richardson can not fire Rivera and/or Gettleman if we actually do lose out. We're talking about ineptitude that has literally never happened before in the history of this league.

The more I am thinking about it if we do lose out especially in embarrassing fashion I think some type of move happens.  A coordinator or two will definitely be gone and I would not be surprised if Rivera is fired.  Or Gettleman, probably Rivera though.  At 4-12 the pressure would really be great to make a move.

Bottom line, going from 15-1 to 4-12 is inexcusable.
