Ron benched Cam looking for a "spark"

4-8 bruh just went to the super bowl. Went from a top 10 to bottom 10 pass defense.

So what you are saying is this ass-funk of a team is basically the 15-1 team from last year minus Josh Norman.

Damn, if Josh Norman is worth 11 wins, he must be the best and most valuable CB in NFL history.

It all started when he neutered the team by taking away our baseball bat because it was scaring people, or even back when he told our guys to ease up the aggression in the SF playoff game three years ago. This team has been gradually emasculated, and any semblance of fire/aggression (Smitty, Norman) have been removed from the equation. It's the master plan come to fruition.

the best thing about last season and even norman said this but there was a locker room full of brothers..he said they didnt just nod when they greeted each other, they hugged each other..not only that the Panthers got rid of veterans who I believed was the glue in that same chemistry..

There were other components than just Norman skill set in why we were 15-1..take the locker room away and you have this season..

Rivera would be a real fool to try to scapegoat Cam, of all people. The one that's held your job steady more times than he should. The one who carries your offense more times than he doesn't. LOL. If he was thinking that, he's dumber than I thought. I don't think that though, I think it was a total power move to prove he still had his balls and unfortunately it didn't work. If, for some reason, they pull a SF and bench Cam for the rest of the season, I'm sure he's doing what he can to get out of that. However, they know that Cam won't snap back in the media because it's not his character and he's taking the heat for whatever, so why not just pile it on. Ron isn't a players coach for that move, at all.

I'm not so sure there isn't something else that's going on between Cam and Ron. Cam dresses to the excess every Sunday, one of the best dressed players in the League. Don't see Ron benching him for one series just because he didn't have a tie on... will probably never know for sure though.

AB, is there a possibility that if Cam wanted out of his contract, he could leave? If so what would be his options? Another team buying it out, Trade or he faking retirement and then come back?

I mean he could always pull a Carson Palmer, but he'd never do that

No, its not just Josh Norman, although you can point to a few games where Josh Norman was the difference. He made game changing plays on defense last year. But the defensive secondary is by far the biggest decline on this team. As bad as the offense is, they're still top half of the league despite playing the best defenses this year.
