Or this could be one of those years where no QB goes in the first 5 picks.  Seems like a week class so far.  Hopefully I'm wrong.

Even if one goes in the top 5 that could still mean that Fournette, Garrett, Allen, Peppers, and Adams could be off the board by the time we pick. This place will have a meltdown when we end up picking Reuben Foster.

Odds are though, that multiple QBs will be taken.  Goff-not even remotely close to ready-went #1 overall.  The level of suck in these QBs would have to be unspeakably bad to outweigh the QB desperation of the QB needy teams.

although it pains me say that we will most likely end up with a top 10 pick, even a top 5 pick... The teams ahead of us are in desperate need for a QB meaning guys like Myles Garrett and Jonathan Allen could be a in play here which would have a huge impact on our team.  No top 10 tackles IMO. and Why draft a RB if there are no Offensive Line improvements in the offseason.  Now if you go out in FA and boost the OL then yes drafting a Fournette or a Dalvin Cook makes sense.  I think with Worley and Bradberry coming into their own, one more offseason of work may have Gettleman thinking yet again lets go Defense in 1st round.  And at this point I see why.  DE or Safety (Jamal Adams).

Picking a RB is a waste of s top 5 pick when you have Cam. Lesser backs can look better with Cam keeping them honest. I would pick DE, LT, or WR in the top. Those positions give you points or take them away.

Not really. Picking a RB makes sense only if we get rid of Shula. Read options gotta go. I can't remember the last one it worked, but Shula still uses every game.

Wrong, it works when it's not used every Damn play. Picking RB over LT and RE is just stupid. What has J Stew and Dwill done for us compared to if we would have invested in a half decent line?

2014 had 3 QBs go in the first round.

Bortles at 3

Manziel at 22

Bridgewater at 32

I really don't think it would be a shock if 0 or 1 went in the first 5 picks.  Goff would probably be the highest rated QB again in this draft class.  Also there might be some FA QBS available, such as Romo or Cutler, to fill some of those spots.

The success of Carr and Prescott might also influence some teams not to reach.

With all of that being said I actually hope you are right and I'm wrong.  Maybe some of these QBs will have a really good offseason heading up to the draft and improve their stock.  Just with us at 7 I'm not convinced we will end up with one of the top 4-5 players (Garrett, Peppers, Allen, or Fornette) that most on here are hoping for.

Fournette is a once in 10 years talent, vastly superior to DWill or STEW.  Teams would have been stupid to take a LB, Luke Kuechly, over Matt Kalil, Trent Richardson, and Justin Blackmon too...

Jax will not take a QB, Bortles is good enough. The rest will target qbs. I think we take a DE. Get a solidified pass rusher. Look hard at signing a RT or LT in FA and hopefully find a solid one in the draft. I think Tre Boston played alright, not spectacular but alright. This was his first year starting. He had some good interceptions this year and couldve had two last night. Kurt Coleman I really havent seen much of him.  But if we can find a vet CB to replace worley and keep bradberry in there I feel like that defense would look good next year. Offensively we need LT and RT. Oher being out all season, I dont know what to expect out of him coming back. We need to work on that Oline baddddd. Kalil, Turner, Norwell are good but the outside (Remmers specifically) has struggled.

Also cleveland wont reach for a QB because they had RGIII out the whole year pretty much. 49ers will most likely take a QB. Jets will take a QB and lose Fitz and dont have no trust in Geno. Rams wont go QB neither with Goff from last year. Cleveland will probably take a corner to go with Hayden. 49ers will probably go QB, Jets will go QB or CB (Revis will probably retire), Jax will go DE. And rams will go probably WR or CB

If you fix the O-line and get rid of Shula ... Stewart goes to being a 1300 yard back

For years people couldn't wait to get out of the last of Hurney's insane contracts, Stewart's.  Now, with his age and injury history only having grown, the opportunity could be there to replace him with the best talent in 10+ years at the position, for 5 years at least on a rookie deal.  I don't get it.  Positional value, age, injury history, etc. make bringing Stew back BAD business.  Nothing personal Stew, strictly business.
