Was Ron really that wrong for sitting Cam one play?

What so hard about this? Just fine him behind closed doors. No one would need to know...

The WORST part about this is obviously Anderson's pick. Was the plan one play or part of the first quarter? If it was one play, it was moronic to call a pass play when the safer thing would have been a run.

Everyone failed on this team from beginning to end.

If Cam was late for practice, bench him

If Cam broke curfew, bench him

If Cam was late for a team meeting, bench him.

If Cam violates a dress code, meh not too sure about that one.

Meanwhile, Jeff Fisher gets a two year contract extension for 6 winning seasons out of 22.

Thanks Obama

How has Jeff Fisher never been our coach, his success rate is right in line with what JR obviously expects and demands. Hell 6 winning seasons would be am improvement...god we suck

Who's to say Ron hadn't talked to Cam about it several times in the past? We don't know the whole situation and obviously our problems are bigger after a 33 point loss

I understand all that.

Even then though, I just can't get behind this decision.

It would be have been as big of a deal but still would bring up speculation to him having control of the locker room which imo he hasn't in quite a while

How does this translate to Ron having control of the locker room? From everything I've seen the players love Ron. With us having a down year it might make for an exciting story to say the locker room has turned on Ron but I just don't see it.

If that pass had been a short completion (like it should have been if Tolbert could catch) no one would be talking about this. That play could have had the same result no matter who was at QB.

I really don't feel Ron was out of line for sitting Cam for one play. If you violate rules, no matter how big or small, you should be punished. My high-school coach did very similar things when we weren't dressed in a suit/tie on game day. Football is a game of discipline and this is really nothing to be upset about.

If you want to be upset with Ron, choose a new subject matter

No. He has the right to do so. Cam being a leader on this team shouldn't had let that happened in the first place. People should be blaming Cam, not Ron.

It just turned out worst bc Tolbert could catch a damn ball that turned into an INT for Derek.

They may love that he's not a hard ass in them and let's them get by with poo but then when it's time to buckle down he's a push over it just always seems like he's never fully in control but that's just me don't think he lost the locker room because of a down year it's because the lack of execution in the second half play calling etc so much can be put under a microscope but to me he's just way too passive
