Why has Kelvin Benjamin played like a lazy, fat, undisciplined, poo-tastic bum this year?

His suckage is one of the least talked about stories of the year. Why has Kelvin Benjamin regressed to the point where I'm not sure he's that much better than Philly Brown anymore?

Last time I checked I don't see you out there doing poo. Yet you wanna call out some players for being fat? lazy? and a piece of poo? Really? Eat a bag of dicks.

Meh, My wife is a huge packer fan, I watch them time to time, and he doesnt look much worse then Jordy Nelson. I don't see how people could honestly think he was gonna make some massive comeback after that injury, it's asanine. He's a big guy, it was a bad injury, and he didnt play real football for like a year. Sometimes people on here need to get real.

He's also been banged up alot this year too.

And to think I was ridiculed for saying anything about conditioning. Not only does it prepare you physically but it gets you mentally prepared for the worst.

You weren't ridiculed. You made a condescending thread and blamed concussions on conditioning. Then you went on a pretty racist rant. You got what you deserved

Just one of those season. When you suck, every body suck.

KB doesn't play with heart. Quits on routes. Pushes off corners every game. Needs to lose some weight.

Was this the same guy, fans and Jeremy were saying was killing in camp before he got hurt??????

Hope for the best in 2017.

Well his performance in camp is vs our defense. When you jam KB and pin him to the sideline he can do nothing mostly due to lack of speed and lack of effort

Speaking first hand, played college football and had to give it up after two ACL years, KB is prolly still struggling with the psychological part of returning from the knee injury. I know after I did mine both times you never really feel comfortable again and there was always doubt with every cut.  Even if it is 100% that thought always creeps up while running a route. I'm hoping this isn't the case for Kb.

im not going to speak to coming back from an acl injury. that affects every single player differently and most people have no idea what its like.

but the dude is fuging fat, he lacks effort, and he runs crap routes.

Devin Funchess is the best damn route runner on the team.

I honestly don't see Kelvin playing as bad as yall make it seem. We're acting like he's a supposed to be a savant route runner or thats what he's known for. Besides a handful of penalties and the KC game he's been more productive stat wise than Deandre Hopkins and Dez

Let's be honest, his rookie year was full of garbage time stats and TDs.  I'd say at least HALF of his stats were garbage time.

I can't blame KB, he's basically exactly what the scouting reports said he was.   He's a big WR that can find mismatches and make some really great plays, but just isn't dependable to be a true #1 WR.   He's a solid #2, and Funchess is a solid #2/#3 but we just don't have that clear #1 guy, not as a WR.   We have Olsen, but we expect too much out of him.    We had a clear #1 with Steve Smith for so many years but no one after him.   Now we have the opposite issue.

I've never seen a WR have so many stupid penalties in one year.   He's using his size at the wrong times and is trying to just push around DBs and is getting called on it.   It's continued all year.

Gettleman's draft picks are starting to fall and fall and outside of some undrafted gems, it's not really looking that great, or even better than Hurney.

You know, I've thought a lot about our WR group last year and now this year with KB's return.  And then I noticed how Detroit has done this year with Matt Stafford not having Calvin Johnson.  Not to compare Megatron to KB in terms of ability, but look at how the teams did when that clear #1 was out of the picture.  The 2015 Panthers were grilled repeatedly over their no-name receivers, yet collectively had a great season and Cam spread the wealth.  Same thing with Detroit this year.

I agree with the OP that KB looks lazy and uninspired out there, and that pisses me off, given his size and athletic ability.  They say that the true test of character is when faced with adversity.  Kelvin fails that test.  And to top it off, his return this year I feel changed Cam's focus in the passing game and how he conducts his reads, perhaps locking on to #13 for too long, or maybe trying too hard to avoid him for the very same reason.  Reminds me of when he was forcing it Smitty when he was still here.
