John Harbaugh On The Hot Seat?

Unbelievable to me that guy continues to con teams into employing him as a head football coach.  Over the course of 22 NFL seasons, he's barely over .500 and hasn't won a playoff game since 2003.  I was shocked when the Rams moved to L.A. and brought him with them.

He tells teams that he can get Eddie George back out of retirement if they hire him. Sad thing is teams like the Rams actually believed him.

Tomlin is awful. He's like Marvin. Both haven't been fired because... who the fug knows?

Look at how long it took Bill Cowher to have success.  Should Pitt of fired him?

If John is on the hot seat..Ron Rivera asshole should be smoking..As a fan of the Panthers l honestly want a better coach period. As person he seems like a great man, but not a championship coach.

Not really. John hasn't done anything since winning the SB.

Rivera actually went to the SB last season. He's locked for at least two more years (2018).

The point to this thread: why the fug is Shula still here?

Damn you slow

My point is...our issues right now are simply more talent driven.  Fixing those are more important to winning.

different OC wouldn't help us currently.  Talent would

Trust me. OC is one of the biggest problems here. Having your franchise QB run straight thru the middle 3-5 times a game ain't helping.

You can't get talents by paying cheap either.

Have you been watching football? John's teams been terrible.

He's 83-56 as a head coach with 6 playoff appearances and a Super Bowl win.  Last season was his first with a losing record, despite all the injuries, and right now he's leading his division.  If you just started watching football this year, I guess you would think he's been terrible.  But there's a reason that everyone in this thread is saying we should hire him, and don't think the Ravens aren't aware of it.  He's a great coach, and he's in absolutely no danger.

I think you're talking about his brother there bud. And Jim already did go back to college.

John on the other hand made a living in the NFL, not college.

No, I am not talking referring to Jim. I dance to the beat of a different  drummer, but I don't live under a rock. I heard his name come up on sports radio. Not only have there been past rumors connecting him to Michigan, USC and LSU, but he is rumored to have expressed interest in coaching a college program. This fairly recent article mentions him as well.

"Texas would be more likely to land a coach from a group that could include North Carolina's Larry Fedora, Boise State's Bryan Harsin, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh and former LSU coach Les Miles."

http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/college-sports/texaslonghorns/2016/11/24/strong-may-done-texas-herman-appears-lsu-bound-come

And that isn't the only source mentioning John Harbaugh.

But, like I said, I doubt he involuntarily leaves the Ravens.

Our OL simply doesn't allow so many basic functions even with healthy....we have to max protect for basic pass plays and their run blocking stinks.

Talent here drastically would handicap any OC.

Fix the talent.  Talent dictates wins or losses more than coaching in the NFL (NFL coaching is largely equivalent)

Hes a damn great coach. I'm not stupid. His defenses have sucked since the SB: 28-30.

He's not a Bill Belichick. More of a Gary Kubiak.
