The problem with all of this isn't us winning out, it's you giving no respect to all the other teams thinking they'll all blow up and lose so many games.

Not true.  Look and analyze each team with their many issues and their schedules.  All are likely to lose 1-2 of their remaining games.  It's not like you're asking them to even lose most.  The only team that must lose most is the Redskins-who the Panthers play!

Actually pretty easy after the Seahawks. If we beat them I will gain some hope. A loss obviously guarantees no winning season and no playoffs so Sunday night is the season. But kinda doubt the Falcons lose to the Rams. Would have to hope they lose to the Aints for a scenario like this.

The division isn't a realistic thought after last week.  Possible of course but the 6 seed is far more realistic and attainable.

Falcons would HAVE to lose to us and the Aints or finish with a worse record than us for us to have a shot at the division. Even then the Falcons could win the common games tiebreaker, which is before the conference, and I'm too lazy to look up what the common games are so far. Basically it's an extreme longshot, which will likely be immediately shot down on Sunday night. But if we win and the rest of the division loses this week, I'll have a tiny bit of a hope for a playoff spot. Will also follow the Skins and other teams ahead of us. Vikings loss was good.

Neither is very realistic or attainable, and I didn't say either was.

Winning out and the 6 seed is THIS close to being likely.  Being 0-3 vs the AFC will mean we have the tiebreaker over others (sans the free falling Vikings) via conference record.

Isn't the first tie breaker... Head to Head?

I would say we could do it if you O-Line wasn't bad.   REAL BAD.  Without Kalil and both starting Tackles...  Kinda rough.  (Remmers move to the other side so not in his original position)

Not impossible and a huge win against Seattle might give us some serious confidence.

True but we $hat the game away in Oakland, the #1 seed in the AFC, without those players.  No one in either league would want to play a hot Panthers team in January or February.  We'll see Sunday if it's possible.

There's no such thing as likely in the NFL, other than the 49ers or Browns losing.

Like I said when I posted this this.  There's a lot of magic needed for anything to happen, but if we win this Sunday then the glimmer of hope shines a bit brighter.  Plus I wanted to know what it would take.  There are a couple of scenarios where we get a wildcard as well, but of course I realize any scenario requires us to suddenly gel on the Offensive Line.
