Yes- I am overly positive.  I get rid of negative things in my life - I actually (try) not to come here after a loss everyone is so bitter.  i am not stupid crazy - I know the season is over...which stings all the more as I had high hopes...like us all.

Here is what I think I know:

1. We lost ...5? games where it could have gone either way.  That' the simple truth.  That means the plan...the people...everything WAS setup to succeed.

2. YES - our coaching staff needs to take a hard look in the mirror.  Our special teams continue to suck now for what...8 years?  Our defense puts linebackers on their receivers.  Our offense makes NO changes at halftime.  We don't go for the throat - we play it conservative.  Instead of trying to win we try not to lose.  I DONT know what losing Shula would mean to Cam.  I don't.  I don't really CARE either - lets take a chance and get a new O coordinator!!!!

4.  OTHER teams - our opponents (!!) LURK here...they eat up our sadness and feast on our tears in some kind of schadenfreud (s?) way.  Go to seahawks.net now and see for yourselves.  Other teams - especially NFC South - HATE us.  They HATE Cam.  Why?  Because we have friggin owned them for 3 years.  The chickenhawks want to say they have the best defense 'of all time' yet we swept them last year.  Falcons and Saints thing they have the best offense.  Buccaneers have sucked so long they don't know how to feel.  They are ALL here like little *itches.  They KNOW that I KNOW they WISH they had Cam as their QB.  ALL these teams?  They HATE their Oline....Saints & Falcons hate theif defense and call for firing themselves!!!!

Maybe I am in the minority...thats fine.  But I TOTALLY trust Gettleman!!!!!!  Does everyone just forget what was going on??  YES - it would have been great (especially in HINDSIGHT that we make Norman play out his tag....BUT if we all remember we were trying to sign SHORT!!  Does everyone really forget??  Thats the ONLY mistake I've seen him make!!!  I (personally) wanted us to make Norman play out, draft Henry, get rid of all these other friggin loser RB....thats fine - I am a mid level manager in a friggin call center....wtf do I know about scouting or football???

Anyway - I will NEVER root for my/OUR team to LOSE.  I dont CARE about draft picks because I KNOW Gettleman will get a GREAT person whether thats #5 or #15.  I want to beat the snot out of the Chickenhawks Sunday night and go to their board and bathe in their tears.

I'm just here laughing at the people that let a bad football season ruin their lives. It's just a game. Yes, I love when they play well, but I'm not going to cry if they lose. I know better times are always ahead for the team, and sometimes you need seasons like this as a wake up call and to correct everything and take the next season more seriously and make necessary changes.

When I lived in Charlotte I went to many games and had a blast and we sucked many of those years. It was fun to go cook, get wasted, and be with friends. I like a winner but the attachment people have to SB or Emotional breakdown is odd.

Whatever you're on we all need to be this optimistic because this team is causing me erectile dysfunction from stress and I'm not even 30 yet.

Haha, my dude don't let it do that. I want the panthers to do well as much as the next person, but I ain't gone let this season cause me to stop beating that thang up. Now, that's one of the few things I love more than the panthers lol.

if you are so invested in the outcome of a game that it ruins your fuging life you either need to step away from the game or find a new way to appropriate failure in a game so that you can be emotionally invested without letting it destroy your soul.

But in all honesty all the years I've been a fan of the team the super bowl loss hurt...a lot I understand a lot of people won't let it effect them but that's the one thing about the Carolinas that bothered me if it's not Duke UNC USC or Clemson they don't seem to care smh but I'm out here in DC wallowing in my own sorrows until 2017 when Gettlefupa hopefully whips up a good team for us to field next year on the way to the Goodell Bowl

The biggest issue I think most have and are dealing with is this...

It'd be one thing if we went..10-6 or 9-7 last year, got into the playoffs or barely missed it and this season resulted, hey it could have definitely been a possibility and not be THAT surprising.  To have just come off a season where you were 1 loss away from a perfect season and a Super Bowl appearance?  This is literally one of, if not the worst case scenario of a season you could have after last season.  Just sucks.

I personally get tired of all the we should lose out to improve the draft talk. One player will not completely change a team in the NFL. That is what I love about football vs. most other sports, it elevates the team above the individual but still celebrated individual contributions. Plus, I doubt you can many of the players on a team to lose intentionally. They have been driven to win their entire lives. Hard to turn that off. I think the players should play to win always and the fans should always be behind them, cheering at every positive turn.

I remember hearing the SB hangover talk earlier in the summer and thought it should not happen to us but it still felt like it was a shadow hanging over us. It seems we just never got that out our heads coming into this season. We got behind early, lost our swagger and never found a way to get it back.

I do believe that Gettleman has done much more good for this team than he has done to hurt it. The Norman situation has been his biggest mistake, for sure, and we need OL help, but beyond that I haven't seen much I didn't like. Plus, the Bradberry pick is looking pretty good.

i cant say positive i thought we were going to make another superbowl run this year but we did the opposite . we were 15 and 1 and the best team in the nfl and we  took the biggest step backwards thats going to hurt us for years unless we have the best offseason of gettlemans career . doubt it though

    • Lower floors than AR coming out, or lower floors than AR now?  Are you counting that he has proven to be a productive goal line back?  AR as a prospect had just about the lowest floor you can possibly have.  Probably the same as Milroe.  Dart's floor looks a lot closer to backup QB to me, but the issue is that his ceiling doesn't look too far from that either. It's crazy that teams are drafting scratch off lottery tickets at QB with 1st round picks.
