I cannot freaking believe we still won't have back-to-back winning seasons

It would be interesting to see if anyone in here pushing the tragedy of no back to back winning seasons has also been a proponent of losing out for draft status.

Relying on rookies to fix this while we still have Cam, Olsen, TD and Luke?!? I would like to see effort from the organization. We can all laugh at Jerruh, and Dan Snyder but I can see them trying.

Panthers are going to have to spend $ to not waste the opportunity with the best roster in 20yrs. Will JR do it?!?

reminds me of the people who made a big show out of how buttblasted they were because the team wasn't winning early in the cam era even though they would have gladly gone 0-16 in 2011 for another shot at andrew luck.

First, blaming JR is about a far fetched as one can get.

Secound, while.coaching can ALWAYS be better, IMO,  can't put it all on them either.

Sad fact is, at the beginning of the season  when we needed  our offense to carry the team while the defensive rookies get up to speed, the offense failed to execute, and turned the ball over. Coaches and ownership didn't do that.

No team in the NFL can lose as many starters on the line,  and have anything thay remotely looks like an offense that can sustain drives.

Could we have won a few more games from.better decisions? Sure, but not enough to give a damn.

We've been in the playoffs the last 3 seasons, which is pretty consistent, and shows the team is becoming more consistent as a whole.

While having back to back winning seasons would be nice, i don't give a damn if an opposing fan brings that fact up.

I'm also not going to judge Gettleman on an offseason that didn't go as he had planned.  One offseason/season doesn't define anyone, and you can't compare the first couple of seasons, when we were cap strapped.

i'd love to see a list of teams from these ppl that tanked for a high draft pick and then proceeded to run the table within 2 years, since it's apparently this panacea for filling holes at positions of need.

I will track down this article about tanking but it was more for NBA which seemed more prevalent. In short, it doesn't work. Well unless you want to be perpetually mediocre then yeah, it works.

There are way too many players and coaches on an NFL team for anybody to tank.

You'd basically have to get a whole bunch of guys to agree to allow their future prospects and their job security to be negatively impacted just to help the team.

It doesn't happen. Nor should it.

Going to the Super Bowl is not enough. It's like showing up to the hottest party but not going in. Happy we've gone twice butvwe don't have much to show for it.

No, it's like showing up to the hottest party, getting in, hitting the dance floor with the most gorgeous girl everyone's looking at and then watching her cozy up to a 40-year-old cocaine cowboy while you go to the bar
