nah Joe Kenn is cool. It's this son of a bitch right here that caused it all:   Jason Benguche

Right there.... that's the fall guy.

I wasn't sure who to look at under a microscope between the two I chose Kenn solely on the fact that a few of these "diehard" fans on this forum would have to have heard his name since he won the award last year I honestly was trying to get across to open minded people that our conditioning this year isn't up to par hell the article I linked shows how poorly conditioned the o line of the giants have been for years now they have some consistency and a new condition coach less injuries more wins lol it's simple math

Ok funny guy this is why I held off on joining the huddle for years a lot of nincompoops like you thinking you understand all the nuances of a sport your wife probably watches more than you

You made a thread starting off with a condescending tone with a half cocked "theory" and you're surprised people reacted poorly? The only thing more predictable than that was you getting butthurt about it.

From a place of education and understanding wbu

You might be educated but you know nothing about football and injuries!!!  Tell me which player on IR is related to poor conditioning.  Tell me his injury and why DR DCPanther thinks it is related to conditioning. The I will tell you why he it isn't.

Do you have any idea how much work goes into being a professional football player?  We were fortunate last year to make it through the season without any major injuries.  That is rare.  Not the norm.

Amazing, just fuging amazing.

You're willing to make definitive statements based on not even a full season of data? Might the health of the Giants' OL this season be coincidental? Might it be coincidence that the same guys who were healthy last year are banged up this year? Might it be because most of those guys are nearing the age when a physical decline might be predicted?

You're awfully willing to make definitive statements based on a ton of speculation and circumstantial evidence. I'd like to hear more about this "education".

actually i have wondered this myself for a while now but i'm not sure this year's injury cohort can be attributed to conditioning unless some other coach is gonna teach luke and oher how to have less bouncy brains

I know Joe well. He almost ran over me once at friendly center in Greensboro when he was still working at Ricky's place. Prohelific Park. Kenn is not the problem, you do know defense scheme differently for offensive lines that are injury plagued right? <- This usually leads to more injures. The Oher injury hit us the hardest due to timing and inability to fill the LT position adequately. Gettleman deserves some love for not having a quality T backup. Oh wait we do he just happens to start on the other side.

It doesn't seem like these injuries are conditioning type injuries.  Concussions.  Ankles.  Shoulders.  Soft Tissue injuries seem more likely due to bad conditioning.  As to Bene being cut due to conditioning, don't forget he was coming off an injury that seems to have been much worse than most of us realized.

If we hadn't been in a huge mess at Corner, I doubt he would have been brought back as quickly as he was...He wasn't ready.  Not Joe Kenn's fault.

Ankles can be due to weight gain, which got to KB and I think our whole backfield has put on a few. Maybe DWill just had something to prove but notice he slimmed down significantly the minute he left town. Most concerning is how even if with a healthy rotation our dline is dead at the end of games.

Not sure why so many are dismissing this thread. It's literally Kenn's job to make sure the guys are in shape so he should be held accountable. If every injury was a fluke there wouldn't be a position dedicated to this.
