In my opinion, the system does fine, actually excels when we have the right people out there that are healthy. We need to make some changes for sure on personnel and get healthy. My point is we are a couple/2-3 roster moves away from potentially being dominate again.

Belichick is the only coach I know that can actually change philosophies to great effect every week and even his system falls apart if his QB is under heavy pressure (Both Giants SBs, Denver playoffs). 

That said, I'm more into adapting to circumstances. To me, that means Shula needs to go because his system is too just dependant on protection to succeed on a consistent basis. No need to completely change everything but more of a shift.

Most coaches know exactly what the other coaches are doing.  Talent simply can prevent you from even attempting to do exactly what you know you have to in order to win.  Dallas is playing Candy Land on O.  They ain't even thinking of learning the complexity of checkers.

Just curious but anyone thinks that Jason Garrett is better at coaching than Rivera? Frankly, Garrett is Barry Switzer 2.0 in my eyes.

I agree with getting rid of Shula.  Mainly because he is the one most responsible for making changes on offense and adjustments when injuries happen.  He crosses his fingers and hopes a play works.  Doesn't matter if a Fifth grader knows what play is coming in because he's so repetitive.  He's a fuggin idiot IMO.

I don't agree with getting rid of Rivera.

If you given him what he needs to run his D and talent to have a run game....you don't really need brilliance from him. 

Hell, that has basically been Carroll's path to success in Sea.  People act like he is brilliant.  Overall he has run one of the most vanilla defenses in the NFL and a very predictable run offense.  Wilson will randomly make a Wilson play and people act like more has been going on in Seattle.  Same for Harbaugh when he made his run. 

Front office isn't given Ron what he needs and thus asking more out of Ron that what he is....

keeps going back to the FO from my perspective.  The FO is where real winning teams come from.  Comes down to their talent and coach pairings

I tried telling you all over and over again that Cam's legs were the reason for the #1 ranking. Whether running for yardage or to buy time. As soon as he was told not to run any longer, the offense went to shit.
