From the angle on tv, I thought ginn wasn't even close to the marker. Wow I was wrong. It looks like by the time cam notices him, it's too late.

Ginn catches that in stride, and gets to the 20.  A FG well with in reach, now we iso Benji 1 on 1 and take a shot into the endzone.  I like those chances.

I hate to say it but Cam deserves as much blame for this year as anybody else. I don't know what the hell happened but he looks like a different player from last year. And no it's not due to the OL.

He was sacked 32 times all of last season.  He's been sacked 44 times so far this season.

That's what happened to Cam.

Some of those sacks were on him though for holding onto the ball.

Wait... There's some of you that are actually putting this on Cam?

Ginn is 5 yards away from the sticks with Sean Smith playing at the 1st down line and already starting to make his break downhill the second Ginn stops. Cam was just about to throw his way anyway but even if he does get it to Ginn there's no way he picks up that 1st

Aren't you supposed to take the deep outs in between the CB and the S when facing Cover 2? 

I think Cam is waiting on KB or Olsen. That was his read based on the coverage, and I think it was the right read. Just needed another half second to get the ball off.

You are right. Getting sacked was much better decision than letting Ginn try for a first down. Nevermind that Ginn had already gotten a first down after the catch earlier in the game.

Honestly, Ginn wasn't getting to the sticks anyway.  Yeah, I would've rather he got the ball and had a chance rather than a sack, but that DB was in perfect position to close on Ginn and was watching Cam.  Had the ball been thrown, he probably meets the ball at Ginn. I'm not even sure if it would've been a completion, much less a 1st down. That DB isn't playing Ginn as much as he's playing the 1st down sticks.
