Look at the gif.  He's running a drag route and the safety is shadowing him and jumping the route.  KB wasn't going to get anymore open and he's already taken the safety out of the play.

Now, did KB do his job? No. If he wasn't supposed to chip the LB, he didn't do his job. If he was supposed to chip the LB, he didn't do his job. But, it ultimately had no impact on the outcome of the play.

No, the fact that we don't have a slot receiver is what has hurt this offense the most. 

There was a graphic shown before the TNF game how Cam's numbers against the blitz are way down this season. As much as I hated Cotchery he was a true slot receiver. For the 1000th time why we refuse to sign a guy like Anquan Boldin is mind boggling. 2.75 is what he signed for.

Remmers got owned, but it would be nice if once Cam planted that back foot there would be a release knowing that our protection isnt up to par.

Waste of a year. I would not be shocked if Oher and Remmers remain the starters for the next few years. I have no hope in Gettleman to find a franchise OT. Maybe he will surprise me this off season, but I doubt it.
