Remember, the Panthers promoted John Matsko to help Shula out this year. He went from OL coach to "running game coordinator". Thats right, the Panthers offensive coordinator has more time than most to game plan successfully.

I've never been that big a Matsko fan.

He helped Oher and yes, our unit did well last year, but he's still suspect to me.

I am all for a revamp of the offense.  Replace all the coaches. O-Line, RB, QB and OC and leave the WR alone.  Actually might not be a bad idea to promote R. Proehl to OC.

Thoughts on RP being our OC?  I would bet he would have more energy and be more innovative than Shula.  After all he was apart of the Greatest Show on Turf.

He did well with the given talent Trai, Norwell, Williams, etc just give him a solid young LT to develop  from the 2017 class.

Move Matsko back to the OL coach and bring in Norv Turner as the assistant coach for the Offense.

Thinking objectively Proehl has not had very impressive results developing anyone. just being honest. everyone loves him but bitches about the receivers.

That's debatable.  He has done with Ginn that no one else could   Brown has had his moments as well.   I would not want anyone else as a WR coach.   OC would be a different story but I think he would bring a better game plan than Shula.

Coaches don't often take demotions.  It happens, but it's rare.

More often than not, they'll get replaced instead.
