Have you looked at where the Panthers defense ranks in 2nd half and 4th quarter defense? Worst in the NFL.

The best offenses in the NFL would struggle to win with that defense. The Panthers record setting offense from last season would struggle to win with that defense.

Where is the Gano missing FGs option? If Gano makes the Denver and TB game. we are easily 6-4, not 4-6.

After witnessing Gettlemans offseason I was on this site saying I was worried about Gettleman not wanting to bring in talent at DE. My point was that I was worried about the health of Luke and TD because they would bear the brunt of not having more talent on the line, they'd be pressing to do more and not last the season.

Fast forward to today. Things have turned out like many of us thought when we saw so no real attempt at bringing in DE, OT, CB etc.

Everybody is pressing to do more than their job because they don't have the talent around them and we all knew it. 

Coaches work with the talent they get. How could it not be Gettleman ? Unless it was Jerry...

People get overly focused on one play deciding the fate of a game.  

There are 60 other plays that have a bigger impact on the overall game than a kick at the end.  Yes, a kick could of won it but you are putting winning and losing on one play. 

Gano's  kick in Denver for example wasn't a bigger reason we lost that game than being beat in the trenches all 2nd half and blowing a big lead.

He very well could have had a concussion- and it went undiagnosed- doctors are people too, they make mistakes as well

Or I'm too busy to read something I already know I disagree with. Just some things I'm. It going to agree with on this board. The #1 being that I believe Gettleman is a mediocre GM, so was Hurney. The crazy thing is if you put both of them together they'd make a damn good one. He's made some good moves and some inexcusably bad ones, every time he goes into one of his position rebuilds it costs us a season. And yes that 7-8-1 year where the NFL rule book put us in the playoffs and we beat a fourth string qb goes down as a losing season.
