And Cam Newton was responsible for every offensive touchdown scored in that game and here you are blaming him for the loss.

Let that sink in.

Did I say it's Cams fault? No. Check your context before posting.

I said it was a series of events ranging from bad coaching, bad oline play, that all accumulated and led to that one play that changed the tide. It's pretty much everyone's fault, I bet you Cam would try and blame himself only, even though it wasn't all his fault.

And my thoughts on Gettleman: After years of proclaimed "cap hell" here we are with 19 million in cap room and dead last in our division largely because of talent. But that's y'all boy.

This is why posters like you and others don't have any merit to what you're saying.

You're stupid to not consider this team talented. We have so much talent at most positions, and have like maybe 1-3 holes that's uncovered when healthy, and that's saying a lot.

"DE" - This was a weakness, but this new rotation has made it into a strength. It allowed Ealy and CJ to shine, and Addison to play hard. Only thing I'd consider is adding a vet, otherwise we're set.

"CB" - When healthy, we're good. Bradberry is solid. Worley is good, real good considering he's just a rookie. Both miles better than Norman his rookie year, with huge potential. Johnson is great.

"OLine" - When healthy, we got a solid group. Kalil uplifts our OGs, and helps elevate and monitor the situation. Daryl Williams is coming to his own at RT, and miles better than Remmers. Oher can hold on his own at LT, but honestly we could get an upgrade to be substantially better. Of course, many teams would kill to get our healthy oline, since most other teams have even worse lines, Dallas and Oakland being the only two with decent olines from what I'm seeing.

Safety - Only decent sized hole I'm seeing. Get a solid SS maybe, and we're set.

Coaching - There we go. Something that's an issue. Taking off the gas 4 games in a row is inexcusable. We need some coaching changes and instill into our guys we have 4 quarters to play, not 2.

Injuries - Valid. This is the MAIN reason we're last. We've had injuries everywhere. Don't ignore that.

Our front seven is superb, and we have solid backups at LB as well that can fill in a physical role for Luke. I think TD will do decent in helping take over Luke's leadership role, and lead this group. Our cornerbacks are great when healthy. Look at how much the Saints were held down in points. Before, they were just throwing and messing with our defense.

This time, our cornerbacks prevented big plays, and made Brees frantic. That's something to look at.

Just keep assuming that Gettleman sucks and won't be doing anything with all this money he has. Oh, speaking of that, I hear Addison, Short, CJ, Ginn, Leonard, and a bunch of other key guys are FAs next year. Hmm...gotta wonder if this cap space will help at all with how many FAs we got next year. Hmm....

You guys are killing me.  The obvious answer is not listed - player execution.

At Denver - we line up and miss a game winning field goal - bad execution.

Against Minn. - Cam throws 3 interceptions and we give up a punt return for a td - bad execution.

Home against the Bucs - We throw an interception in the end zone on first and goal at the 1 in a tie game in the 4th quarter - execution (note Shula did not throw the pick, our QB did.  Who knows what play was actually dialed up).

Home again KC - We are dominating, then throw a pick 6 and give away a fumble in the 4th quarter - poor execution.

The same coaches went 15-1 last year so its not on them.  The GM stayed out of the way and made few changes.  Why would he, we went 15-1 and were favored in the super bowl.  We lost Norman and some backups.  He replaced him with a 2nd round CB and some more backups.  We get KB back.  We should be as good if not better.

But the concentration gaffes in key moments have easily cost us 3-4 games, the difference in being 7-3 or 8-2 to being 4-6.  Its all on the players, and they would tell you the same thing.  This is the NFL.  The games are expected to be close and come down to a play or two at the end.  You just can't give the ball away at that key moment when the game is on the line.  Just can't do it.

I got to be honest, there are some pretty funny posters on here. I have to wonder sometimes whether they're honest fans or plain old seachicken trolls or something. Acting like you're fans but finding every excuse to bring down the team, in considerably hilarious fashion. It's like you guys are dead serious with some dumb poo you say.

Just tired of all these "fans" saying we done for. There's a good path to the playoffs, heck, we can even lose one more game and still be solidly safe. We have a good team. Don't believe me go ahead and grab your ol' Cowboy shirt and have fun with Jerry Jones and co. because we don't need you here.

This notion that you are not a true fan because you are not an unrealistic optimist is hilarious.  I am not an unrealistic optimist in my daily life...what makes you think I am going to be one because I am a fan of a football team?  Just because someone says, "We are done for the season" at this point, if anything they are much more realistic than you are.  We have a 1.5% chance of making the playoffs at this point and time.  Now, I know its hard for you and others like you to have realistic thoughts but that is MORE than enough reason to say we are done for the season.......while I admit that technically that is even an unrealistic statement, it is much more realistic than saying "We are going to win the superbowl" like some of you insane posters on this forum.  Do I want us to win out and somehow find our way to the Superbowl this season?  Yup, you bet your a**.  Is it going to happen?  Probably not.

The odds are against us. That's for sure. It really hinges on whether the falcons choke or not, which is looking unlikely, and us going perfect. Sure, I like going for those odds, because we have a team that's capable to doing good things. However, I understand that there's really not much of a chance.

I'm just harping at the usual trolls that have been saying we were done since day 1. That's who I'm calling out. Those posters, since the 15-1 run, have though the Panthers were done for the longest time. That's who I'm calling out. Not the realists who understand there's a chance, but not much, because that's perfectly plausible. I like being optimistic about things when I know the potential of my team, and the one sliver road, but I understand there are those that understand that it definitely isn't easy.

Just tired of all these trolls lately having a field day, and being quiet when the team's doing good. It's just pathetic to the core.

Bad coaching in play calling by offensive and the game/time management......lack of adjusting to the strategic changes of other teams in the course of a game.

Bad considerations in drafting by not building up a strong/deep offensive line roster.......

Very poor fundamentals/discipline particularly by the WRs........

That will do it...........hence 4-6

if you believe Gettleman caused Gano to miss a FG in Denver, DA to throw a pick on the one against TB or caused the collapse against the Chiefs idk what to tell you.

He deserves part of the blame- but hot damn you guys are some black and white world viewers
