Dear football gurus, cornerbacks get beat from time to time, but the ones who generate the most turnovers and win more than they lose are successful.

 

We abused Pat Pete and Marcus Peters this year.  Guess they suck...  lol.

They'd have missed the roughing the passer call too.

Not trying to add to the negativity and bitching around here but I did say this exact thing to my Dad tonight. I've watched Cam take that exact hit probably 10 times this year.

Star deserves whatever he wants but his deal will be friendlier than expected like Luke's. NTs don't make mega bucks after all.

Turner will be paid like a top Guard and will get it.

Short might be the only one we lose but I don't even see that happening. He's had an average season. Unless gets 7-8 more sacks, he lost market value.

Until the Panthers win a Super Bowl it's going to be difficult to argue they should just do the same thing. Especially when Super Bowl winning teams lately have been acquiring top talent defensive backs in free agency or from the draft prior to their runs.

We didn't have weak DBs in 2015...and that seemed to work out pretty well for us. 

I don't endorse stacking at one or two spots thinking they will make up for the shortcomings on your roster.  Not a fan of that.  It's the NFL, injury bug can and does take our any positional group.  If you aren't well rounded you simply are asking for it.
