I don't see a problem with it. Going head first with a slide isn't really giving yourself up and it is the job of the defense to recognize this and touch him down. Now this doesn't mean dive on top of him or anything but at least put a hand on him to make sure he is counted as down. Redskins were sleeping twice and lucky for them the refs had already blew it dead.

It's bullshit because if he got up to run again and took a hit you know damn well it'd be a 15 yard flag on the defense. They'd throw that flag every time.

J-No still making plays

On a side not we should of never passed on Jamison Crowder, we need that type of receiver on our offense

I really hope we'll snag Ryan Switzer this year. He's the type of shifty YAC WR we lack and we could quit trotting Ginn out there as a return man where he's been awful. Never thought that Ginn would end up being a far better WR for us than return man, but that's exactly what happened.

If the whistle hadn't blown and he was actually up and not laying on the ground then no, no they wouldn't.

Personally I don't think it would unless of course the whistle had already been blown. If they did flag the defense in that that scenario though I would be blaming the refs for making a stupid call since the play was still live. To each there own though, won't know for certain how that play will end up until it actually takes place in a game to see the live result.

The difference is he wasn't worth the 75 million dollar price tag. I don't know about you but I wasn't going to accept losing Star, Short, Norwell or Turner over a 29 year prima donna who can't recover once a receiver gets behind him.

May still lose them...if one decides to buck G-man and try to get paid...

Considering we drafted a DT and we were strong their with good depth.

I'd take an All Pro DB and let a DT go.  If everyone pans out we will have a stud DT watching from the sideline with the depth at DT....our weak DBs play football.

Gotta factor in the rest of your roster.

and this is coming from one who is well documented as not being a Norman super fan while he was here
