So Eagles and Giants?

Probably, but can't rule out the Skins either. Giants are 6-3 with games against the Bears and Browns next which really should be two easy wins for them to bring them to 8-3. Then at Steelers, Cowboys and Lions at home and away games against the Eagles and Skins. They probably win at least two of those games, maybe more so it would have to depend on tiebreakers if we both went 10-6, which they might have.

Eagles at 5-4 are at Seahawks then vs Packers, at Bengals, vs Redskins, at Ravens, and finish off with Giants and Cowboys at home. I think they can beat the Seahawks even in Seattle but for arguments sake we'll say that's a loss. Packers should be a win at home (where they're damn good), Bengals have been sh*t this year so probably win there, Redskins at home is a win, at Ravens is a tossup, and I think they beat both divisional teams at home to finish it out. That's 10-6 if they lose to the Seahawks and Ravens, also would need us to win out and get the tiebreaker. Could lose to Cowboys but I think they have the upper hand at home, but they could also beat the Ravens or Seahawks.

Skins are the lesser threat of a wildcard to us at 5-3-1 but with a game against us. Win vs Packers this week, loss at Cowboys, loss at Cardinals, loss at Eagles, would need to be a loss vs Panthers for us, win at Bears and toss up vs Giants. Would need for us to beat them of course and they probably aren't as big a threat but still are in there.

So it could be done as a wildcard at 10-6 but we'd need a lot of favors from other teams, in addition to the already tough task of winning out especially with our injuries.

Best path to the playoffs is the division still in my opinion. Two games behind the Falcons with a game against them. They have upcoming games against the Cardinals and Chiefs which both should be losses for them. If we could beat the Raiders and Seahawks we'd be tied with a game against them at home that would pretty much seal the division. I think we beat the Chargers at home, win at Redskins, and beat the Bucs in Tampa so the season pretty much comes down to the other 3 games. A win on the road in Oakland in 10 days would be a huge huge win and a big step towards the goal of playoffs or winning record. Of course then we'd be out west again for a tough one in Seattle. Though we could drop one of those two games and still possibly win the division. It requires Atlanta to continue it's implosion which I find to be somewhat likely but we still have to take care of business.

I'm waiting for all the trolls to come in here.

Lol. I don't understand how losing out is beneficial or satisfying. Just to have an offseason of something to bitch about as if we don't have enough problems. I know this forum is male dominated but you'd never be able to tell because most act like their on their cycles with us girls. God.

Lol why would not having a winning season be better? Only losers think things like this.

I'd rather go 10-6 even if no playoffs, no doubt. But I can see the logic in wanting higher draft spot and possible firing of Shula for the team's success in the long run. If it meant bringing in a better OC and better players in the draft that could be the difference in a Super Bowl win next year I'm sure you'd rather have that but of course you can never know that in advance and it'd be unlikely to be the difference anyways.

I can't because Dave wouldn't draft what we needed if it was available and Shula isn't going anywhere. I have more faith in referees than the front office lol.

Then you should probably hope we lose every single game until Dave is fired.

Are you the one that does this poll every year?

I don't think so but I have no idea. I remember making one in '14 saying we'd make the playoffs when we were 3-7-1. Then we lost the next one (maybe the Vikings game with the two blocked punt TDs) and I think I lost it...
