back of his helmet as he fell down.  It's scary that a hit like that could cause a concussion...meaning this could be something that could become more regular for him.  We might be smart to lock down Klein in the offseason.  Regardless, I pray he's alright, if he stays healthy, he will make it to canton.

Not true at all. Back of the head hits are the easiest way to concuss someone. It's why combat sports don't allow it.

If he got a concussion idk how looked like he got the wind knocked out of him badly. No replay showed any hit to the helmet. Confusing

he was hit with upward momentum to the bottom of his helmet. This would be like an uppercut, and his stance did not allow him to divert the force from his head.

Watch his eyes after the hit. They do not close. His brain is in shock at this point. Then you can see him with his eyes still open looking in a single location shifting what appears to be one eye at a time to focus on the same point.

He knows this is not normal, and they advise players to consider retirement after 3 concussions as they will occur with more frequency - even with lower impact shots to the head.

Repeat concussions recover at a slower rate and players 25, and younger are more prone to concussions with a higher risk of cognitive impairment.

A broken leg or ACL injury like TD would be a much better outcome.

Not necessarily true. Combat sports disallow it because the base of the skull is where your spinal column is most vulnerable. Hits the back of the head are less the protect the head and more so to protect the spinal column at the base of the skull.

Say what you want about the NFL, the protocol has probably helped a lot of guys brains.

Its not the concussions that turn your brain to mush. It's the repeated hits to the head after a concussion has happened. Luke will probably be out for at least 3-4 weeks, but should be ok long term.

That being said, I'd sure like to see a better angle of how he looked on the play right before. If he got concussed on that play and then got hit again immediately following, that could be very bad. It looked like he just got his toe stepped on so I am holding out hope.

He was limping around so yeah I'd say it was a foot stinger

This. With each concussion, the next one comes easier.

Kinda like a fighter with a glass jaw. The guy used to be able to take anything, but he got KO'd once or twice and now he gets knocked over by a stiff breeze.

It's also a easy way to KO someone because of the nerve clusters at the base of your skull.

I re watched the play a few times. He was trailing the play, and when he went out of bounds his plant foot slipped and he came up limping.

Then on the next play while he was coming in to make a play, he planted that leg, and it gave way on him. It put him in a bad situation, and he paid the price of bad technique because his leg would not support him.

I am hoping that between the leg, and the hit, he is just in a whole lot of pain. Just because they are checking him for a concussion, does not mean he has one. But he did take some punishment in that short time span.
