Just watched the replay again and Luke did get contacted by Hightower's helmet right on the temple. Didn't necessarily look like much but that could absolutely cause a serious concussion. Temple is a bad area to get hit.

Tonight's injuries, Kalil, Addison, Leonard Johnson and Kuechly. And Cam is playing like Jamarcus Russell. Its really time to pack it in for the season.

I really hope we don't lose Luke, but it really looks like he may have to call it a career. It's just gonna get easier and easier to get concussions. His style of play and position do not bode well with concussions.

Have never seen anyone react that way from a concussion. He looked like a 12 year old kid who needed his mom and that is not a slight or a joke. I would be scared as a fan even if I didn't root for the panthers. That was terrifying.

Hard helmets and spikes increased the damn violence/health risk levels

I am contemplating whether or not to continue watching the sport I love. NFL wake da fug up.

They don't care about Cam's health and now the best future MLB might be winding down. NFL has gotten political. Has taken the fun away. I am about done with the sport. Thanks Roger Guberdell

Head coach Ron Rivera could only provide confirmation Friday that linebacker Luke Kuechly is in the concussion protocol, one day after Kuechly left Thursday night's victory over the Saints in an emotional scene.
