Well, we have another one in the book. We gave up 20 to Brees and Cooks was 7-42, Thomas 5-68 and Snead 4-33. Coleman had the WR TD and was 1-9, although the TD was down the middle covered by Davis/Coleman (or Boston, don't recall). The other TD was also in the middle to Fleener and I remember the announcer saying it was right where Kuechly would have been.

So, Cooks, Thomas and Snead combined for 145 yards on 16 catches. Honestly, against that good of a passing offense, it's pretty solid.

Here's the kicker when you look at the 4th quarter when our offense got 1 first down and thus the D was on the field for almost the entire 4th quarter. Remember, the Saints had an 8 minute drive to close out the 3rd quarter before our 1st of 3 straight 3 and outs, followed by the 6 and out that closed the game.

The 4th quarter production was Cooks 1-3, Thomas 4-53 and Snead 2-14. Not spectacular, but that means that in 3 quarters before we couldn't figure out how to close the game, Cooks was 6-39, Thomas 1-15 and Snead 2-19. That is damn good secondary play. Thomas got half his production on those 2 prevent D plays to end the game. Holding Cooks to 6 yards per catch? Not bad at all.

Bradberry, Worley, Johnson, Coleman and Boston has actually been a pretty solid secondary lately. Sure, we had to have a couple really nice plays (Bradberry knocking away the TD and Boston knocking the ball loose from Coleman on the long pass), but that is what you have to do. Just like the poke away by Bell on a first down by Brown that forced us to punt.

Worley is the weak link IMO, of course he has potential but the situation he is in i still don't like. with the pass rush and safety's stepping it up i do feel a little better. Hopefully worely turns the corner here soon and Johnson and Luke aren't hurt for too long

Better not let Promethian weirdo see that.  He thinks everyone lacks intelligence if they think Worley sucks.
