I'm an optimist too but this team really puts your optimism to the test.

I am a cautious optimist...

So basically I'm a pessimist when it comes to the Panthers.

Playing fantasy football and having 0 Panthers on my team helps me enjoy NFL football while the Panthers are struggling. Also, it goes without saying that hockey season couldn't start soon enough. I need more sports going on so that the Panthers are proportionally less of my emotional investment portfolio.

I don't count the preseason games, but even still the Panthers have lost 4 out of their past 5 games that have counted and we would be riding a 5-game losing streak if Kasay hadn't nailed that field goal against the Saints back in December.

Well, we are can only possibly think to be favored in 4 games this year, maybe 5 if the jets don't stay on their pedestal. i mean think about it... other than the bucs twice, bills, and possibly redskins who would take us to beat any of the other teams we face this year?

Fox of late seems very lazy. I heard of no extra preparation during the bye week leading up to the playoff game. He shortened every off season workout, and his interviews make him seem like he does very little analysis/critiquing of his and other teams. Blast me if you want, but I'm callin' it like I see it, and I don't see much right now.

i meant he's old school, expects a lot from his players, and doesn't take siht from them. he also says what he is thinking, and doesn't hide in circles of words.
