Watching this Giants game..

Why is it that we have arguably the fastest receiver in the league and Philly and we can never get these guys the ball with any space to work? All I see from bottom roster WR on the Giants and then AJ Green are them getting the ball with room to work 5-10 yards to work. Just contemplating..

Part of it is route design and route running and part of it is Cams refusal/inability(or whatever you want to call it) to throw guys open. He isn't good at it, he can put a ball on a dime if he sees where he is throwing but that doesn't get guys open.

My biggest guesses would be route running capability or complexity of the plays. Could be a bit of both. The players you mentioned for us aren't the best route runners and the last part...Shula

I agree. It is weird though, last year he threw guys open several times I don't know what happened.

Ted Ginn is not even close to the fastest receiver in the league. Philly is 4th string caliber receiver.

Ted Ginn's speed seems to have dropped off a cliff this season.  Without that trademark speed he's pretty fuging mediocre... luckily he seems to have gotten pretty good at out routes but it no where near makes up for the every play big play threat he presented in 2013 and last season.

Philly is fast, but he isn't super fast.  He also usually always goes down as soon as he catches the ball, so his YAC potential is essentially wasted.

Don't even dignify Gooby with a response he's one of the stupidest posters on this board, and clearly didn't read "Bottom roster WR" regarding the giants when I made the Philly reference. He's ignorant.

Ginn had the "fastest play" of the year he reached 21 miles per hour on the bomb against the Falcons last year at home and was considered the fastest play as in he reached the fastest speed of any player on any play. Idiot.

I think Cam problem with that is protection. Less than 3 seconds doesn't allow much finesse .
