Can't Be Taken Seriously

Really? Yes he is

Shaq is a part owner of the kings.

The kings reportedly want too much for cousins.

He's also has a lot of red flags which may be a reason why no teams has been willing to give up a lot to acquire him.

He's basically T'Wolves era Kevin Love, big numbers, questionable leadership qualities and no playoff appearances.

Now tell me why he is the answer realistically not just posting his averages and all star appearances.

He's is a complete NBA big man. He's just got some damn issues. More like needs to grow up.

Cousins plays with more heart and energy than Kevin Love. MJ could probably help.

I agree he is a complete NBA big man. How would the Hornets go about acquiring him?

What combination of players/draft picks do the Hornets give up for the opportunity to rent Demarcus? Keep in mind that the kings have a Surplus of Centers / Power Forwards.

Your move.

I don't know about that.  He certainly didn't help Stephenson.  Guys like Lance and Cousins are true cancers to a team.  No matter how well things are going, they're still going to do dumb poo and act like fools.  That's not what the Hornets are trying to build here.

Lance is another Javele McGee. Cousins is different.

SAC: MKG, Frank, Lamb + pick(s)

CLT: Cousins, McLemore

something like that

Disagree with OP.  If MKG played against Toronto, we win.  Cleveland was winnable until the refs took over with about 3 mins to go, as they usually do for Lebron and his team.  When they recycled the shot clock and gave Cleveland a second chance despite the shot clock having expired, that pretty much ended the game.  We could've won.  This is a good team...  Top 3, probably top 2 in the East.

As far as Cousins...  NOPE.  I would've been interested a year or so ago, but the more stuff that has come out, the more it is evident that he is just an asshole malcontent.  When your part-owner (Shaq) finally comes out after years of supporting you and taking up for you (Shaq vs Chuck), and admits you're a problem, then you're a problem.  Ryen Russillo is one of the most knowledgeable NBA guys out there IMO and he gave up on Cousins over a year ago.  He talked about how if you watch his games, yeah, he puts up numbers, but basically it's because he's a bully, and it doesn't translate to winning because he is a crybaby.  He gave examples of how he'll demand the ball, doesn't get it, then out of frustration, he either doesn't run back on defense, or he fouls someone to give him more time to complain to whoever.  As fun as the numbers look, from what I've watched and gathered from media, it just isn't worth it.
