Well, what do you see? Seems like he should have followed his blocker Dickson up the gut. First down was there. Instead, he runs into the back of Gradkowski for a loss.

If you watch carefully, you can actually see Cam point to what Tolbert should have done.

He needed to follow Dickson, not ride the C outside...if he did, it was a first.  Zod is right if you watch Cam, he motions what Tolbert should of done.

The running game was pathetic yesterday. It seemed like every attempt was right up the middle, aside from a terrible toss sweep that was snuffed out in .2 seconds.

Why don't we mix in a stretch run or counter?

Tolbert is now at 54 yards for the season on 23 attempts.  2.3 YPC & a season long run of 7 yards.

He's averaged <3.5 YPC going back to the start of last season at 100 carries.  He doesn't block... fumbled in the Superbowl... what's it going to take to get this guy off the field?

I'm no NFL caliber athlete, but I'm pretty sure I could block and run better than Round Mound has this year... hard to watch

Dive to the right side A gap.

Problem is Gradkowski is driven into the A gap.

Tolbert is going to the inside of Turner's block.

Dickson is suppose to block inside out from the right side A gap. Dickson ran to a spot and Gradkowski was in his way. He stepped to the left side. He should have gone off the right hip of Gradkowski and doubled down on the DT in the right side A gap followed by a release to the LB.

Dickson did not follow his key and was unaware of where he needed to be. Gradkowski made it difficult, but it is still very lazy on Dickson's part. Dickson blocked no one because he went to the wrong gap.

Gradkowski gets most of the blame for being driven back into Dickson and then Tolbert.
