That may be true but we are not the only team with a poor offensive line..If the other team adjust then you adjust.  Shula is too slow to know what to do when adjustments have been made. i

You have a dual qb and you can't  plan around him not the line.

but the root of the problem is one team can line up man on man and one team can't.  Both sides can scheme and counter.  Bottom line the team that can't just line up and play is suppose to lose.  So the root of the problem is what has to be addressed.

There are only so many adjustments you can go to when you are out-manned.  Eventually the well will always dry up.  We need to fix the talent in the trenches.  Some of that is injury.  The other is we have been helping them for a LONG time (which is adjusting).  But the well is drying up on aiding them.

Because coaching quality isn't something that just sits still.

Remember when Chip Kelly was going to revolutionize the league? It started off great but ultimately didn't happen because people adjusted to his schemes and he wasn't smart enough to counter those adjustments.

People have our coaches and our schemes figured out. Maybe our coaches can adjust, but so far I've seen no indication that it's true.

But that could be because new players were not added. We took a major step back this year.

We also need new personal to make the Panther's scheme work. The biggest issue is the lack of a  2nd TE that can runblock. Carolina is a run 1st team that forces defense to stack the box and without a good blocker to take on the extra defenders it leads to a negative play.

We need to draft TE in 2017

Coaches play ball control to reduce the time the opposing offense has on the field when leading in the game. The defense is suppose to win it for the Panthers in the second half.

The only time you need to have an offense attack with a 2 score lead in the second half is when the defense can not keep the opponent from moving down the field.

Rivera believes his defense should win the game. Unfortunately, the secondary is garbage now and can not force a fumble to save their jobs.

The Panthers defense is getting out played in the 2nd half. The better 2nd half defense at forcing turnovers and punts will be the team that wins the game. The Panthers once had a secondary like the Chiefs displayed to win the game.

Thats called taking your foot off the gas, aka playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

What really pisses me off is how this coaching staff act like a childish teenager throwing a fit with the extremes. It's like a look here I'll show you. When Derek Anderson threw the end zone interception when we should have been running the damn ball, the very next drive it's 3 straight runs. In the KC game we go into conservative mode and then at the end try to make a miracle happen.

We don't actually run block well and our OL is so weak we have to scheme up heavily for our plays to work vs good defenses.  We can't line up man on man.

good defenses that can line up...simply take a half to see all the ways Shula is attempting to help our OL (because of talent issues) and counter

Since the run game is predicated on good interior blocking, who specifically isn't getting it done? Gradkowski, obviously, but this issue predates him. Is Norwell overrated? Turner? Kalil?

Not disagreeing with you, just seems like this shouldn't be an issue.

Same here. Something needs to change. We will never win a super bowl with this coaching staff.

I don't think it is Rivera and the Defense.  I like our defense.  When everything is working like it is supposed to our defense is top class but the offense is just sickening.

Oh 38 out of 40 100 yd games is so skewed it isn't funny.  Cam gets half of that most games.   We run the read option as if we are fooling someone.  WHERE NOT!!!!

Do a typical offense and be done with it  Read option now and then. It would be awesome to run a Power I and play action off of it.  The occasional QB run just to remind them of Cam.

Shula has to go and no matter what I won't jump on the Bandwagon again.  EVER.
