Special teams is just awful

Ted Ginn has zero interest in returning punts. Runs straight to the sideline,away from contact. Only spectacular return he has had was the one directly after he had the bad misjudge muff vs. San Francisco I think. Lol and behold his next returned looked like the Ginn of old.

To be realistic...over/under 30% of our punt/kick returns are brought back by penalty...

 

I say over. It is ridiculous.

 

I also think we are the best team at returning a kick out of the end zone (automatic 25 yard line) and getting tackled at the 15. We are like, "fug those 10 yards!"

ST has been weak across the board. This is why I want a HC who has experience coaching more team units than just defense unlike Ron

How can ST been weak under you since you got here, some things are just inexcusable and unacceptable.

Its funny you mentioned him. When I made the comment first person came to mind was John Harbaugh. He's done defense, offense, and ST. Castillo hasn't done ST, but he's done offense and defense

I was just trolling with the juan comment, he was a terrible DC. Harbaugh was mostly a ST guy he held some positional roles as well but he made his mark as a ST guy. As long as the head coach picks the right OC/DC I don't think a team would hold back a candidate for not having both offense / defense experience.
