Holding Kalil Out for Thursday Game?

Announcers said the team held Kalil out so he can play in Thursday game

That means to me he could have played today and we needed him today against a better team. Seems to me this staff was looking past today and focusing on Thursday cause its a division game, but sitting at 3-5 the goal should be to win all games.

If he was healthy enough to play TODAY, its pure and utter idiocy to have held him out for some nebulous "future".

Hearing Cam say no need to panic kinda answered my thread. I think this team was more focused on Thursday night game. Common sense woulda been to win this and that one and everything is almost peachy

I doubt the announcers would actually know.  They were likely just speculating.

If we were just focused on the Thursday game it tells you where we are as a franchsie and even more about our staff.
