Been a fan since 2003 season. Seen two different GMs running a team the same way: spend as little money as possible in FA and depend on draft picks. 

DG gets all the blame for the Josh Norman situation, but wonder who's behind it? JR will do the same with KK. He already got KK's replacement in this past draft.

I think you might wish to rethink this statement. Hurney was God awful with FAs. He tried and failed a lot of times.

He did it twice punk. Did it with Ken Lucas and Mike Wahle in 2005; lost to Seattle in NFCC. Dumbass. 

 

The second time he did it after JR tried to please the fanbase with the NFL lockout. Giving a good contract to CJ and a dumbass contract to Dwill followed that with Stewart the following year.
