Zero adjustments cost us another game (and possibly the season)

This coaching staff is so predictable it's almost scary. Great 1st half, the Chiefs doesn't do much on either side of the ball. But as usual, our coaches seem to think that the opponents is not going to adjust in the second half. Rivera & Co thinks we should just continue to do the same in the 2nd half, since it worked perfectly in the first.

News mr. Rivera!!!: When the opposition changes their plays, we must do the same. They change to match better up against what we do in the first half. Therefore you must change to a different game plan in 2nd half. Can't believe this is so hard to do. Time after time we see this happening. Time after time Rivere stands on the sideline, seeming completely confused to what's happening. Come on guys, please see what everybody else see...

possibly season?  Oh no bud, that was the season.  We watched our season get poo the fug away by shitty fuging play calls in the second half.  You need 3 yards for a first down and the slant pass had worked all day...how about a fuging 5 step fuging hail mary.  Only a chimpanzee could defend Shula's playcalling in the second half.

The season is still up for grabs. Not looking good for a wildcard, but divisional is possible. Falcons can lose probably 3 more games down the stretch; Rams, Chiefs, and Zona are likely season killers, and of course against us.

We have to be near flawless down the stretch though. Will be tough. Chiefs should've been an easy ride. We cannot lose steam in the 4th quarter like we always do, and make costly mistakes.

"Adjustments " are a myth. Get out of here with that generic trash.

We lost because Daryl Worley is completely overwhelmed, because the team was apparently timid over the weather or something, and arguably because Rivera consistently plays it too safe with injuries. There was no excuse to not have Ryan Kalil out there. The guy is fine.

Anybody who thinks our horrible performances in the second half every year aren't coaching related are purposely blinding themselves.

Maybe it's Shula.  Maybe it's Rivera.  Maybe it's McDermott.  But it has something to do with the coaching.  We get out-coached and out-classed in the second half like every year.

No they aren't lol get out of here with your ignorant trash.

If you actually pay attention to the NFL games other than the Panthers and NFL shows you'd know that adjustments are huge. Our own team has a big history with a famous instance of adjustments in the Patriots SB and how they players to this day say the Pats knew our plays so in the 2nd half we came out with a new game plan and it almost worked.

When you see coaches interviews from other teams they talk about it as well. Just being willfully ignorant to say adjustments are a myth. What's a myth is back to back winning seasons for this team.

Coaches didn't even make an effort to change things up for the SB.

Denver players said they had seen it all before on film.

Fact up numbskull.

"Halftime adjustments" are a media driven (but I saw it on the shows!) myth

You don't spend all week on a game plan and then tear it down when you face some adversity.

lol do you really have this image of coaches in a locker room at the half with a chalkboard? Tearing down their game plan and divvying up plays? Lol

Guys spend halftime taking a leak and eating while they check their phones.

No it isn't it's a coach/player driven reality. If the media asks a question and the player/coach responds that isn't the media making up what they said.

I've already given you a prime example and there are many others on a weekly basis. Willfully ignorant.

Adjustments start on the sideline and don't end at halftime but either way our team is poo at it and you can find teams that are great at it.

You didn't give an example. You said "I head this on the shows" to which I ignored because of how often players have outright said "halftime adjustments don't actually happen"
