Holidays? I find a chair in the corner and keep my eyes moving. If I keep my mouth shut, most times they forget I'm even there. A few years ago, while opening presents, my brother in law threw his phone at his father because he got a bottle of Jim Beam, and not Jack Daniels. lol

I have to admit throughout the years, no one has been killed. Hospital visits? Sure. Lots of band aids, and tape, but no actual deaths. lol

My family didn't believe me the first few years I talked about the in laws. Until my mother came to the wifes b-day party. Even though the party was at our house, and the in laws were on their best behavior. My mother left early, and never came back. We always went to her house, or out to dinner.

This was fun. Thanks.

I am literally laughing out loud. This is good for tv, y'all should look into that.

With how this season has played out. Dream away. It's pretty much all we have.

I have heard some good things about Frank. So I would not be totally against him.

We have hired established coaches before. But they didn't work out either. Good coaches are so dang hard to find. Even when you find one, it takes time for you to know for sure.

Personally, all I want is an OC that can get every ounce of talent out of Cam. Now that is a dream for ya.

Seifert was pretty much the only retread.

Back in 95 when the team was starting, Richardson originally wanted Joe Gibbs, but Gibbs told him he should "build his own star" rather than snagging someone else's. They've tended to stick to that.

I'd add that Frank's doing pretty well with Carson Wentz, so far.

New on Bravo. "Real Hillbilly's of Spartanburg". All proceeds go to flak jackets for the needy. Parental Guidance is strongly suggested.

I would like to add that summer time is much funnier. There is a pool. Think about that one. Drunk Hillbillies, lethal weapons, and a pool.

I would like to add, that the whole neighborhood is family. So there are lots of family. Love em when they are sober. They scare the beejeebus out me when they aren't. And we live at the bottom of the hill. What goes up, must come down.

Took Cowher 13 or more years as a head coach to win a Superbowl.  During those 13 years, he had some bad seasons.  Some would have him fired probably after his 7th season when he went 7-9.  He followed that up with a 6-10 season.

Then we should of kept John Fox?

I remember that now. I did help shape how we are built.

I have no qualms going with an Offensive mined coach when the time comes. It is something we have never really tried to date.

But...I just believe Ron deserves one more shot. However, I would not really pitch much of a fit, if that time were to come this off-season. Only if we go Offensive, coaching wise.

A lot of those years were without a quality QB as well. It is much easier to allow a coach to keep his job when he is missing that piece.

Also, that is the Steelers. They have always been patient. Not many teams are willing to go that route. Some teams are just like their fans. In a hurry to be great. To heck with the process. I want it now.

Patience is rare in the NFL.

Ron is the kind of coach JR likes, John Fox but not John Fox. Ron has been coach of the year twice, NFC Championship, 3 NFC south titles. Ron wanted Greg Hardy. Ron wanted Josh Norman. I'm not sure but he probably relented to Gettleman on the Steve Smith thing. Bottom line is Ron, like every coach wants his best players on the field. Ron doesn't shop for the groceries. He's the chef that has to work with what he's given.

He has a great defense. It's time for Cam to grow as a QB. He needs Norv to expand his horizons and add his WCO concepts into his game.

Norv walks in with much respect and there is no way Cam doesn't soak it all up. Cam needs to expand now, it's time for him to graduate and not regress.

I agree with you on most of this. The only thing I have to complain about is Norv. I would hope we could do better than that. He is kinda old for our needs. I would rather have someone closer to Cam's age. Someone Cam can relate to. We need someone that can get every ounce of talent out of Cam. Not sure Norv is still at that stage in his career.

But if that is all we have to argue about, life is good.

Dan Henning did some good things when he was here. Ron needs somebody who can run the offense immediately. Let Ricky learn while the old guy is here. That's how we strengthen the coaching ranks and culture. I'd give an old guy a shot.

To be honest. I would not really care if Goob were our OC. As long as he can make Cam better, and get our Offense firing on all cylinders.

I was ready for Rivera to be fired in 2014.

Last year reset things, but now we've fallen back to earth and I'm back to wanting a change.

Jerry Richardson prefers defensive coaches, but Dave Gettleman's Super Bowl rings came with offensive coaches (Shanahan, Coughlin).

And yeah, Gettleman and Reich were in Buffalo together for about five years. Given that and the fact that Reich is a hot property right now, I could see it.

If Rivera were fired.

I don't believe Rivera will be fired.

I laughed at that for a while. No offense at all but if Shula bashing was whacking a pinata with a bat, Henning bashing back in 2006 was using a chainsaw. I do give him credit for using the wildcat with Weinke as the QB against the Falcons and somehow winning 10-3.

I see Rivera getting another year but never say never, especially when there's a connection like that. I didn't think they would fire Hurney mid-season and yet, we did just that.

Lol. I was addressing his age when he worked here more than anything else.

He did "feed the stud" though
