That happens a lot with this Rivera-coached Panthers squad.

Almost like it a tendency or something.

Their coaching philosophy has always been poor for 2nd half leads. They go for the long drives and turn off the momentum with a prevent defense to protect a lead. All 3 are bad. Coaching not to lose. Couple that with the coaches trusting a defense who is unable to make game changing plays makes it worse.

Got the wrong target, bitch

I've been a Cam fan since Auburn (and helped you in your incessant denial before) but I know what I see

Well then you obviously didn't see the 1st half of this game then.

Its almost like you have an agenda and you're picking out only the parts that support your viewpoint.

WEIRD.

I don't think we can really blame Shula.  Maybe a little but not for play calling, but for overall poor performance and lack of efficiency on offense. Play calling is irrelevant if you can't block for the pass or the run.   That was some horrible blocking on the part of the offensive line in the second half.  No holes to run thru against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL. The pass blocking on the pick six and for most of the second half was horrid.

You can be the greatest play caller in the history of the NFL, but if your offensive line can't block for passing or running, then it doesn't matter what plays you call.  Add to that they get 10 points off some horrific turnovers, and you get what we had today.

I do question that last call though, but I don't know if it was the call or the fact that Cam chose to throw it to a receiver in the middle of the field with 29 seconds left.  Even if Benjamin holds onto the ball, its a play that has no chance at success.  Have to throw it to the sidelines or deep and give the receiver a chance to run out of bounds.

Whoever decided not to play for a FG up 17-3 at the end of the third is who you blame.  Against a team like KC who is good but has not sniffed the endzone all day its a no brainer what you do.  IF shula made that call then its on him.  Changed the whole fuging game.

Get rid of

Mike Shula
Ron Rivera
Dave Gettleman
Mike Remmers
Graham Gano

Draft DeShaun Watson and have a real QB competition

LMAO, Watson will be long gone. Welcome to the loser club btw. Watson is a better pure QB than Cam, but he will be subjected to your mediocre team as Cam is.

"It's almost like you have an agenda" - Auburn homer

Which parts have I denied?

Cam didn't have a good 2nd half.

Cam was under constant and quick pressure in the 2nd half.

Cam made a horrible throw that cost us in the 2nd half.

YOU are a fugging joke thinking that Deshaun Watson is half the quarterback that Cam Newton is.  Cam Newton took a zero team at Auburn 2010 and made them an undefeated National Champion.  Watson, on a team with some of the best talent in the country on both sides of the ball, always has teams that somehow come up short.

BUT DRAFT DESHAUN TO COMPETE WITH AN MVP QUARTERBACK WHO THE HELL NEEDS PASS RUSHERS DERP DERP DERP

This game can absolutely be put on Shula. Anyone trying to defend Shula after that second half is either a blind homer or simply doesn't know football. We had one good drive, there was some good play calling and some better execution, but Shula killed that drive with plays that get Cam sacked due to a shittt OL. Outside of that drive, it was pure ineptitude. Shula calling stupid plays, Cam with one boneheaded throw (probably felt he needed to try to make SOMETHING happen or it was gonna be sacks, runs for no gain and throwaways the rest of the game), KB with an illadvised attempt to pick up and extra yard and kill seconds. That's a recipe for defeat. fuging Shula.
