Movie Recommendation : Arrival

Arrival is probably the best science fiction movie I have seen in many years. 

Thoughtful,  intelligent,  suspenseful, philosophical,  amazing photography and visuals. 

Great story,  acting,  twists,  turns. 

Must see.  

 

(not a space wars movie,  not a lot of action. Pure science fiction.)

I seen early reviews months ago and heard it was fantastic.   People saying Amy Adams was brilliant.

Saw it opening night. I liked it. Had my attention throughout and it's a good film to see in theaters. I had some issues with the scientific aspects of the film but it's a solid watch.

Saw it tonight and dragged my daughter to it who didn't want to go. Had high hopes but honestly left less than impressed. She liked it more than me though so that might say more in her favor than mine. I understood the movie but just didn't connect to it.  Would rather have watched Hacksaw Ridge again.

I liked it but I thought the design of the aliens was sort of a downer for me.
