You... you've used up all your Huddle stupidity for the season. Don't post anymore. Nobody takes your bashing and "analysis" seriously. At this point, you're as formidable as the world's biggest ant. You're asinine rhetoric might get exposure but you're still just an ant.

He's used it up?? Nonsense

And he also drafted him so what does that say about that pick??

A 5th rounder who contributed as a rookie and was a part of the reason we made the playoffs to give our young guys playoff experience and was solid depth last year before getting hurt? Terrible pick right guys?

Ummmm.....yes. We gave up 2 picks to get him and he didn't even get to finish his contract, he had maybe a stretch of games when he wasn't hurt he looked good that's it .....waste.  The overrall point is you can't say "Hey gettleman knows what he is doing!"  for him getting cut by another team after us when he was drafting by gettleman to begin with.  And invested draft pick getting cut is never a good thing. Some of you are so quick to praise gettleman for every little thing just ignore the fact he is responsible for creating the blunder in the first place cuz it was his decision to draft him. It's just sad now really. " Oh look Miami cut him too, gettleman is smart!" We still lose more than Miami in this situation.

Look at how many day 3 picks last more than a year on their team's roster... More than 2 years... Full length of contract... I never said DG was smart just because the Dolphins cut Bene. His time here was good enough to warrant what we used to get him is what I'm saying.

Says he knows a lot, for a 5th round pick to come in and be okay from day one, to know when he should cut his losses with him. Sanchez gets a lot of flak but they are basically the same player. Like it or not that's his replacement. 5th round pick as well.

Invested draft picks getting cut early in contracts is NEVER  okay. Only when your biased towards the person making the decisions.Especially when that guy was your most experienced at that position.

lol lots of perineal playoff teams do this...the patriots come to mind. Don't act like it's a cardinal sin here.

Uh, news flash, why hold on to someone that is clearly not working for you anymore after an injury? We're talking about a fifth round pick that panned out a little. It's unfortunate he had his injury but it would be asinine to keep him if he came in like he came in, no conditioning and still not fully recovered from said injury? So two front offices are wrong and you're just right and they should take him back? lol nah man. Bene was a good player but in his current condition the brass had to do what needed to be done.

Also most experienced doesn't necessarily mean the best at the position. Bradberry is and was better than Bene even Worley. Sanchez=Benwikire. You also have McClain that's making plays.

wow all those pages and pages of whining when he was cut and all the Gettleman bashing. Now all of the sudden "Gettleman knows what ges doing"

I swear this place annoys the hell out of me sometimes

Nono you've got it all wrong. Gettleman was an idiot for cutting such a good player and using him as a scapegoat (because of Gettleman's ego of course).

then when the Dolphins cut him, Gettleman's an idiot because he used a draft pick on a player who obviously is terrible.

it is Gettleman's fault either way, you see.
