This has nothing to do with the chiefs, both Alex Smith and Houston can be back against us Sunday.

 

It has to do with the fact that Vegas still think we are the same 15-1 team from last season. Anyone who gambles knows this, I think we have been favored in every game this season.

Not really, the odds makers are aware of what we are as a team I assure you. The reality is that Joe Public does not and betting trends still bear out the majority betting as if we are still last year's team. Thus the lines being as they are to try and get some action on the other side.

Vegas wants you to bet and a majority to lose. 

That's the risk aversion they follow. They don't want a bet to be blatant in the spread and it's one sided.

guys vegas gives the home team 3 points automatically- as of right now it's unclear if Smith or Ware are playing (they likely will) 

People will start betting chiefs heavy on that line and it will move down- expect it to be somewhere around -1 on sunday
