Cam struggled today, but this team doesn't team it easy on him. Its either 3rd and long or 3rd and short with Shula sending everyone deep. Cam couldn't even go through his reads to day with all that pressure.

 

He had a 93 passer rating and completed 62% of his passes behind a patched offensive line against one of the best defensive lines in football...

Our defense is slowly clicking..we need the offense to step up..We know they can do it..hence Arizona vs Panthers just last week.

 

 

 

If @SOJA is correct and his ankle is still bothering him (which I'm sure it is), this could also be why he hasn't ran as much as he normally would. Isn't this the same ankle he had surgery on?

Cam can't dominate with a backup LT, backup C, backup RT, little ground game and refs allowing guys to attack his head free fro penalty....

I mean there is fearless and then their is dumb.  Today at least, Cam should of played most downs with his health in mind to a degree...

His stats were similar to a few QB's today, all QB's miss throws. People need to look at the whole picture of listening to the commentary talking about accuracy accuracy accuracy.

Those same commentators completely missed the helmet to helmet contact TWICE all while focusing on Cam comments about protection in the pocket

Run game was a dissapointment, having Kalil & Oher back will allow Cam to make better "decisions".

I think Cam missed 4 throws that could have lead to a first down or a TD. The first to Ed Dickson that hit the ground and if on target would have been a first down. Second, he overthrew Devin Funchess for a would be TD. Third, sailed an out route to Kelvin Benjamin. Fourth, Overthrew Kelvin on a Fade for a TD. Obviously if he completed those passes the game would have never been close. However, I was more annoyed with the offense not establishing a rhythm on 1st and 2nd down  to counter the Rams. Most of these throws were on 3rd down after watching Tolbert get stoned by Mark Barron.
