i sacrificed a TE and a solution (sure thing anyway) at RT, but this is my favorite mock so far.
Several of these guys solve more than one problem for us. Conley allows Worley to play at S and Slot, or remain as a number three if Bradberry or Conley get hurt.

Budda Baker likewise can fill that role and provide us a FS to work with our veteran and/or replace him down the line. worst case is the talent doesn't suffer a huge dropoff when he plays.

With these two picks our secondary is set for the long term.

Basham is a raw prospect but can get under the learning tree at DE. Our depth allows us to take a Basham or a guy like the KState DE. Athletic dudes who need some polish.

Slot WR and return guy? Carlos Henderson is your solution there.

Pat Elflein and JJ Dielman. Both guys are swing types. Elf can sub at G/C and Dielman can sub at RT/C. Versatile guys that can provide instant depth (ready to play as backups day one) for a beleaguered Unit.

Connor Harris can replace AJ Klein as the understudy for Luke. Guy just looks like a MLB. Fun read on him here.  http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/connor-harris?id=2557852

Would not suprise me at all if this is all correct at the end of the month. Although the only picks I really like are getting Barnett and Tanoh , which makes us incredibly stacked at DT and DE. For whatever reason I just don't like Kamara as a prospect, he could prove me wrong in the NFL but in college, I just don't see anything that jumps out at me from his low volume of carries as it is.  Tanoh and Obi look like projects but if they turn out well it could make this be a hell of a draft

Tried to do a visits/private workout-only draft. it didnt work out perfectly, but i think it was a pretty good haul:

Capture.PNG.c97e170e62a643d03a423bb07605dc7f.PNG

1) Fournette: nuff said

2) Bolles: was hoping for Njoku here because we really seem to like him. but he was taken before pick #40. its not impossible that we move up to get him. Panthers havent met with him. was a BPA selection.

3) Maye: dont know alot about him, but the Panthers have met with him so i assume there is some interest there.

4) Henderson: i think weve brought him in for a second visit and he is getting Agent 89 comparisons. Me Likey

5) Kpassagnon: multiple visits with the team. very smart and athletic but questions about his passion.

6) Taylor: another non-visit. was BPA at this pick, but i like the pick. his strength is quickness and separation in the slot which we need

7) Penton: dont know much about him but the team has met with him.

8) Tevi: something tells me he will be taken a whole lot higher than the 7th round. and we've met with him multiple times.

i got us two swiss army knives. imagine being in a two back set and then switching to shotgun. defense will have migraines all day.

Then i shored up the OL, got a DE that is well thought of and two Defensive backs for depth.

the last pick may be the biggest sleeper in the entire draft. 6'6 and runs like a deer and his combine indicates he has great short burst to get seperation from defensive backs.

what do you all think?
