Everything after Adam's was basically just BPA because I haven't been keeping up with lower round prospects, so it's possible this draft sucks. But got Adam's so happy about that.

Well this is my last time using drafttek, no way on earth I get these guys in the 5&6 rounds.

I recommend only using CBS.

Dream draft. Used the most recently updated, "inside the pylon". Obi was available when I took Peppers and Leggett was there when I took Butt, but I went the higher upside guys.

I could roll with that most definitely. I have no idea what Peppers real saftey capabilities are since he played all over the place in college, that's the only pick I'm a little iffy on. I know he's great at getting to the football and tackling but I'm not quite sure how great his coverage skills are. From what I saw at the combine he seemed like a natural leader and a great athlete though.

I agree in that we need to bring in a kicker to challenge Gano. We can't just sit idly by while we have a kicker missing game winning or otherwise crunch time field goals with regularity. Gano might even been overall a mediocre or slight above average kicker but god I can not watch him with any sort of pressure kick.

I think even if we dont trade up or down in the first round, there  could be a decent likelihood that Gettleman uses that late 2nd to move up a few spots to the first few picks of the 2nd if someone he really likes falls to the 2nd round.

I love this draft. I know Mixon likely won't happen, but I'm betting that he interviews better than we think and shows contrition and DG says fug it, we're winning some rings. I also know Mixon likely won't fall that far, but damn it, I gotta go with what's in front of me.

Offense gets a big boost with Howard and Mixon and the defense gets some real nice youth to takeover whenever they are ready. Tabor, Obi, Tanoh and Walker is a great haul for the D, especially when I got Howard and Mixon.

Tried to make picks as realistic and Gettleman like as possible, assuming no trades.  Everyone wants offense skill players but if Gettleman sees blue chip defense players at the top of his board repeatedly he'll keep pulling the trigger.  Also 3 Olineman, Panthers organization is sick of Cam getting knocked the poo out of so we get one of the top rated OTs in Bolles, arguably the best center in the draft that can back up Kalil, Norwell, or Turner and we can groom him to be Kalil's eventual replacement, and a project OT from Michigan.

The main thing about this draft means that we are absolutely stacked at both DT and DE and we have some good depth on Oline. If Evans and Westbrook work out that's just icing on the cake.
