Fwiw, I don't think that Ref's that miss one or two calls should be penalized. Because all of them, and any potential ref they might hire are going to miss calls sometimes. Perhaps ref's that miss a number of calls should be downgraded.

the refs being "graded" has been common knowledge.

the problem is blandino, and the rest of the nfl rules cronies, have made the case that the refs aren't missing that many against cam.

Has the NFL actually said anything? They leaked their own stats and had them pushed, this announcement is basically in line with the norm of the past when refs are bashed that they are graded.

No, I was just referring to this. But I do remember something like this happening before, so you're probably right.

On one hand I agree. Then on the other, I feel like he will get a couple more calls because they've seen Cam is not afraid to go straight to the top and I'm positive Roger Godell doesn't want to keep having these conference calls with Cam.

Dean Blanding is a joke. How did that grading system work out for SB 50? Cam took shots that were not called, on top of the hideous officiating that ranked among the worst in NFL history.

Corrupt NFL is corrupt. All about the money; not the integrity of the game.

It's been like that for years. Nothing ever happens to officials. Worst case they don't get to do postseason games. It's not like they get fired. It's like being horrible at your job with no chance of getting fired, at worst you don't get your Christmas bonus.

If a ref misses 2 calls in the 1st half during halftime they get 2 strikes to the back with a cane pole.

I hate the "All Star" way they create postseason officiating crews anyway.

Reward them or punish them as a unit.
